Casa Mariposa

Everything was perfect!!! Super clean. Mariposa had everything we needed. The location is safe. Close to the lake, restaurants, supermarket (10 minute walk), boat and bike rentals. Most of all, Eugenia is a true GEM and an amazing host. She greeted us, picked and dropped us off at the train station nearby. We really appreciated that gesture! Thank you Eugenia ❤️❤️!!!

Everything was superb and Eugenia was an excellent host. She was so very helpful, advising on where to go, the best transportation and place to eat/drink. Probably one of the best places I’ve stayed at.

We had an amazing stay at Mariposa. The apartment was beautiful and clean, has a lovely balcony for morning coffee and a well equipped kitchen and supermarket nearby (and a fresh produce market in the square across the road on Thursdays!). Desenzano is a great base if arriving by train and the apartment is in a great location next to an excellent gelateria and a very short walk into the old town and the lake (and ferries). Plus a few beaches nearby for lazier days. The host (Eugenia) even picked us up and dropped us off at the train station and was very prompt with all communication. Seriously can't fault the accomodation at all, thankyou!

Very central in Desenzano. Close to the Castello, with a bakery and grocery shop around the corner. Very lovely landlord.

The accommodation was very nice with lovely balcony and place for parking. Clean, cozy like home. Mrs. Eugenie was very nice. We'll definitely be back.

The host is very hospitable and cheerful. She was so kind to drop us to the station on the way back. Beautiful apartment with a nice balcony, all the equipment, and a great location.
