Ocean View Paradise!

I love the cleanliness and the feeling like you are absolutely at home. Troy has so many great things to add to the trip if needed, including snorkel gear, ice chests, boogie boards, etc. That a major plus in my book since it’s hard to travel with all of this things.

Excellent facility though a bit offbeat. This makes night sky viewing a treat, especially while relaxing in hot tub !!!!

Troy is very friendly. We spent just a few hours in his property but everything was fine

Troy is a very helpful and understanding host. He prepared a book with all the useful information and he is always happy to tell you more. the house is kept clean and the bed super comfy. I enjoyed the view of ocean, as well as the mountain from the property. I love the beauty of wild nature and being isolated from busy crowds. by the way, watching starry sky at deep night in the hot jacuzzi is really special unforgettable experience in my life, as recommended by Troy.

The toilet is only for my own use. but the distance is farther from my bedroom than from the hosts’s. I felt embarrassing when I use it at late night, as I fear the noise may be disturbing. A curtain between the toilet and the host’s room can be an easy solution.

A great Homestay in a quiet, starkly beautiful landscape. Troy is a great host, provides excellent local knowledge and facilities to enjoy your time exploring the Big Island. The location was a great base to get around the whole Island.

Our stay at Ocean View Paradise was simply phenomenal. The facilities were fantastic and exceeded our expectations. The value for price is amazing, and the rooms are super clean and new. The property is in a beautiful, quiet area and we woke up to the most beautiful sunrise with the view of the ocean. Troy was also very patient and helped us so much during our stay. If I could come back to Hawaii, I would stay here again, no questions asked. Thank you for the beautiful experience!

At first, I was a little skeptical about the location, as it is pretty far from Kona airport, but after seeing the gorgeous unobstructed views of the ocean and sky, I would 100% book here again if I could!

We Loved Everything! The ATV trip we took was the best! We loved the location, the ocean view, the comfortable bed, it was the perfect quiet stay with plenty of privacy, private bathroom, the Hot Tub under the stars was great! We stayed in the 1 bedroom unit which has the full use of the beautiful kitchen.

Only wish we could have stayed longer. But we will be back!

The rooms are very neat and tidy, lots of equipment is provided including towels, and the hot tub is great.

The bathroom and bedroom are some distance apart, which is not particularly convenient and relatively expensive for the price.
