Beautiful, quiet location and very friendly host! There's a small restaurant and beer garden very nearby which was a lovely place for dinner the first night my partner and I stayed. We also enjoyed the thoughtful touches in the place, and the kitchen, though small, was very well stocked if we had decided to cook.

Payment was a bit complicated—the host emailed me about a month after I had booked the place stating that she had requested the first half of the payment several weeks prior, but I had never received this email. She sent me info on wiring money for the stay, but that didn't work, and so we had to pay cash on arrival. Paying in cash was fine, but if you stay here, just be sure to be proactive about your payment method.

This accommodation is a room in a family house. The listing doesn't make this clear and I wouldn't have booked it had this been apparent. Whilst the room itself is non smoking, there was a smoker in the family so walking into the house you are confronted by the smell of smoke. The fridge is too noisy to be in a bedroom. The wardrobe was too damp to use. The air fresheners to cover the various smells were unpleasant and bad for allergies/ breathing. The bed was very hard indeed. The owner expected cash on arrival. I found this bizarre and extremely awkward as I don't carry cash. Again, had this been clear I probably wouldn't have booked.
