Great location, nice and clean

Beds not the comfiest

The experience of our party of 4 staying at Ritzland is that it is in a central location for restaurants and down to the Quayside. There is plenty of hot water.

The apartment is scruffy and in need of a makeover. The bedrooms are cramped, the window blinds don't com the whole way down, the lower panes are covered in sticky backed plastic. The beds are old and lumpy. In the bathroom the toilet seat has been replaced at sometime with one that is far too small for the pan. The shower head would not stay up and needed to be hand held for a satisfactory shower. We reported that there was only 3 forks, just 1 champagne flute 1 plastic wine glass and no other glasses. There was no washing up bowl and no plug for the sink. These issues we're not resolved. There were burn marks on the kitchen worktop and one of the cupboard doors was hanging off. A gaffer tape "temporary" repair to the wall next to an electrical socket was still in place. We noted that this was reported in May 2023. Would Not recommend this scruffy and Overpriced apartment.

Bit noisy at night

A good location near the city centre.

People were talking outside on the grass balcony area from 4am to 7am.

Apt not in top condition - “curtains” in bad shape, beds not comfortable -water not drained fast in bathroom’ sink. Too much noise from next door. Not value for money.

great property in a good position 5 minutes walk from all the bars

Spacious and very well equipped. The apartment is bang in the middle of Newcastle and could not have been in any better location. If you are heading there for a clubbing weekend it would be ideal as also close to lots of restaurants and fast food outlets. Plus it is literally 4 min walk to the train station.

Large bed in the room with two beds was very uncomfortable as the mattress was cheap and lumpy. The small bed in there was a lot better as was the double in the other room. We didn’t use the two double bed settees in the lounge to sleep on but they were comfy to sit on. The outer door to the complex does not have a soft closer on it and due to how busy the apartment block was, the door continually banged (very loudly) until 5am making for a very poor nights sleep which I guess is not an issue if you are until the early hours. The front of the apartment is on the street side so is quite noisy but the back rooms were quiet apart from the door banging and people chatting outside the windows.
