Lovely 2 bed flat in the VERY CENTRE of Newcastle

I cannot put in to words how lovely this property was! From the minute we walked in we were in love! It was huge, spotlessly clean, bright, airy, very tastefully decorated and very comfortable. We loved the amount of windows which looked out on to the centre. The owners could not have put more thought in their property; it had everything you could possibly ever need. The kitchen was equipped with every utensil you could think of. The lounge was very comfortable with a big sofa and a reclining chair. The bathroom was very clean with a lovely shower and the water was always hot. The bedrooms were clean and tasteful and the beds were comfortable. The location of the property was excellent too for exploring the city; we arrived by train and the station was a 5-10 minute walk away, and the lovely Quayside was another 10 minute walk away in the other direction. I would like to say a huge heartfelt thank you to the owners Iain and Maggie for letting us stay in this beautiful apartment. Communication with them from the day we booked until the day we arrived was excellent. They sent a message a couple of weeks back informing us that the lift was broken and would potentially not be repaired in time for our stay so they would understand if we wanted to cancel which I thought was very thoughtful of them. Luckily we are able to manage the stairs so we didn’t need to cancel. They also sent a very informative message with all the check in details a couple of days before we arrived which made our arrival and check-in very smooth. They also left a hamper containing drinks and snacks which was very kind. After we had checked in I messaged them to say how lovely the apartment was and that our friend was going to be getting ready for her wedding there, they instantly messaged back and gave us a code to open a locked drinks cabinet in the apartment to have a few drinks in celebration.

Absolutely nothing! I’d score it 100/10 if I could! Only downside is it’s up on the third floor which may be difficult if you have mobility problems but that didn’t affect us. It could also get quite warm in the apartment but there were lots of fans available to use. It could get quite noisy at night as it was right in the centre but the windows blocked out the sound if they were shut.

Great location, close to the metro and car parks. Lots of great bars and restaurants nearby. Well equipped spacious apartment, very clean and bright the beds are so comfortable. Great communication from the owner.

The lift doesn't work and the apartment is on the third floor however, we were made aware of before we booked and this wasn't an issue to us at all.

Beautiful flat, fantastic responsive hosts, really homely. The lift wasn’t working but we’d been updated prior to arrival so it wasn’t an issue.

Lift in service, everything else was perfect

Spacious, light, central, v comfy beds and well equipped kitchen, great decor, close to main station & shops, very helpful hosts.

There’s a noisy dance venue across the road till 1 or 2am. Thankful for double glazing but still quite a bit of noise. Lift was out of action but hosts went out of their way to help us with our luggage.
