Driftwood Apartment

Cosy and welcoming, great central location.

We booked this lovely apartment very last minute. The host Rob met us to hand over keys and show us around. Perfect location with the sea to one side and the town to the other side. Plenty of on street parking. Tea, coffee, fresh milk and a bar of chocolate most welcome after our late check in too! There's shampoo, conditioner in the shower and a hair dryer as well, although we always take our own. Super comfy bed. Would recommend Number 23 which is a lovely dog friendly bar servicing gorgeous pizzas which is only 5 minutes walk away. Will definitely stay at Driftwood again. :)

immaculate, comfortable and well equipped

ohhh .. a very minor point . it would have been lovely to have ground coffee instead of ( or as well as) instant coffee.

Driftwood Apartment was very cosy and an excellent location for our visit. Facilities were very good and we were given plenty of help in the lead up to the booking and whilst there from the owners. Would definitely recommend to anyone else looking to stay in Saltburn.

A couple of very minor points. Electric cooker took a little while to work out how to operate, kept getting the "Locked" light coming on when trying to use the hob. Managed to work it out eventually, but perhaps owners manual being available would help, unless it is and we just couldn't find it? Corner sofa bed was quite firm in places, but this may just be a personal preference thing?

Nothing not to like tbf close to beech although 183 steps to go down and up but could take longer route if necessary
