A beautiful house on a quiet street in a quiet little town. Ideal location to explore Bari which is only 11 km away and the most famous cities of Puglia. The house was spotlessly clean and very very cool. Although it was June we did not feel the need to turn up the air conditioning. The owner communicated with us from the first moment and was particularly interested in our stay in the house and if we needed anything. We were very sad when it was time to leave. We would stay in the same house again with great pleasure.

Spacious and centrally located

No air conditioning in second bedroom which was incredibly hot. Had to ask for a fan, which they kindly sourced. Bathroom does not have a window which can open so was also incredibly hot. We stayed for over 2 weeks, but host was unaware of this when we arrived. There was only enough toilet paper etc for a couple of days. Host was not proactive eg: we had to ask for a change of linen. They always supplied what was asked but did not anticipate the obvious. Some small improvements or additional supplies and facilities would have made for a much better stay.

Sannicandro is an great place for getting acquainted with Puglia, it's close to Bari and main roads to all the places of interest. It is a quiet little town with surprisingly rich history. The appartment is cosy and nice, comfortable and well equipped. The proprietor super friendly, always ready to help with anything. We really enjoyed our stay.

The appartment is almost next door to a church with a rather loud "campanilla". I personally didn't mind, I am a sound sleeper but people with a lighter sleep should take precautions.
