Beautiful building with great potential, but a pretty rough weekend for a family (Apartment 6) Just to be clear upfront, this review is strictly for Apartment 6, which is on the ground floor of the old converted stone mill. There are five other purpose-built apartments on the property, but we didn’t see inside those, so we can only comment on this one. The building itself is beautiful, but our two-day family trip was really let down by a few major issues. On the positive side, having on-site parking was handy for the car. Inside, the kitchen is well-equipped for a short stay with a microwave, full oven, hob, and a decent-sized fridge-freezer. There’s also a big dining table with six chairs which was great for mealtime. The bathroom doesn't have any outside windows since it’s in the older part of the building, but the owners left a dehumidifier running alongside the extractor fan, and it actually did a great job keeping the air fresh. Unfortunately, the cons really impacted our weekend.

Not a true two-bedroom: It was advertised as a two-bedroom apartment, but it’s actually just one bedroom plus a kitchen that has a sofa bed in it. Having to sleep in the kitchen meant listening to the fridge buzzing all night. On top of that, the bedroom door is clear glass, so there's zero privacy, and the bathroom door didn't even have a lock on it—not ideal when you're traveling with kids. Surprise construction work: The place is currently an active building site, which we weren't told about before booking. They were reinforcing the entrance to the car park right outside our window, and the noise started blasting at 7:00 AM. Getting the car out was a total headache too; every time we wanted to leave, we had to sit and wait at least 10 minutes for the tractors to move out of the way so we could safely pass. A heads-up from the owner would have been nice. No hot water: The shower situation was a disaster. On our first night, I had to let the water run for a full half-hour just to get it lukewarm enough for a quick shower. By the second morning, it was completely freezing. We texted the owner, but since we had to pack up and check out by 10:00 AM and he couldn't come down to look at it until 8:45 AM, we all had to skip our morning showers before heading home. Slow response time: The main lights in the bedroom weren't working at all. We texted the owner at 8:00 PM to let him know. Considering the family lives right upstairs on the first floor, we didn't get a reply until 8:00 AM the next morning offering to swap the bulb. By then we were already on our way out, and we didn't want to waste our morning waiting around for a light bulb fix. For what we paid, it was way too expensive to sleep next to a noisy fridge in a falsely advertised "two-bedroom," especially with no hot water and being woken up at 7:00 AM by unannounced construction and tractor traffic, so we definitely wouldn't recommend Apartment 6.

Everything was perfect. Our host, David was really nice. The apartment was very clean, the bed was comfortable, we had everything we needed. The train station, the pub and the supermarket in the center is about 10 min. walk. The trails ( the entrance of the park) is also not far away. Easy to get there on foot.

Sehr schönes Zimmer, wunderschönes Appartement mit viel Holz, vielen Lichtschaltern, alles topmodern ausgestattet. Smart Fernseher und gemütliches Licht waren vorhanden. Wir haben uns sofort wohl gefühlt und würden dort jederzeit wieder gerne buchen. Können es wärmsten empfehlen um die Felsenstadt zu bewundern. Der Besitzer war supernett und sehr hilfsbereit.

Leider geht der Panorama Blick aus den riesigen wunderschönen Fenstern auf den Parkplatz. Man konnte aber die Gardinen zu ziehen wenn einen das stört.

Velmi útulná a příjemná světnička. Sympatická mini kuchyňka tak akorát. Z vybavení bylo vše vyhovující. Pan majitel byl také velmi milý.

Ač je květen, pokoj se nám moc nedařilo ochladit k pohodlnému spánku. I přes otevřené okno bylo uvnitř stále teplo.
