Super clean, well decorated

The location couldn’t be better! Gated estate property with well manicured lawn and sparkling pool. Celine provided a wonderful breakfast at the exact time we requested. This one is a rare property with the most gracious hosts. We will be back to stay longer.

Fabulous garden and pool, like a little bit of paradise. Very quiet and relaxing. Can't wait to come back.

Not a thing.

We possibly never had a better accommodation in any vacation. The apartment was very nice, well equipped and super clean. The garden is simply breathtaking. You can’t relax better, than in the shadow of a gigantic palm tree. Some cooling in a very clean pool. Céline and Thierry where the perfect hosts, we thank them a lot for the tips and the nice talks. We definitely will come back.

We had a wonderful stay at Palmeiras Cottages. Celine & Thierry were there to greet us when we arrived. The apartment itself was very comfortable and spotless. (We stayed in the downstairs apartment.) The outdoor gardens and pool are quite beautiful. I could have stayed there forever! The owners live on property and they are some of the nicest people I have ever met. They have a beautiful brown lab dog who is extremely friendly. We loved having the dog around. He made us feel right at home. We were given a key to our apartment, as well as a key to the gate. Celine explained everything about the apartment on arrival, and had a book available with local recommendations. It is a 15-20 minute drive to the beach which was perfect for us. The cottage itself is in the country but not far from Portimao. Of all the places we have stayed in Portugal, this was our favorite. The owners are wonderful! Highly recommend.

The place was very very clean! Nice pool and garden. Hosts are lovely people and they have a great dog.

I would have liked a fan in the bedroom, because there's only ac in the living room. The bed is on the small side and a little hard.

The private terrace with sun & shade, big communal garden & pool, very organized and clean, easily fits a family.

The dog (it wasn’t mentioned when we booked and it is not a toddler-friendly dog) & the inspection of the apartment before check-out (first time in my life and it is very weird to experience).

We have just returned from a memorable stay at Palmeiras Cottages. As a party of 6, we rented both villas, so had the entire place to ourself. The owners, Celine & Thierry live on site, and are available to assist you - if required - but they are also respectful of your privacy. The villas are newly renovated and the owners attention to detail is second to none. They are beautifully decorated and have everything you need for your stay. The upstairs villa has a bigger kitchen and patio balcony, whereas the downstairs villa has a kitchenette and garden patio - but we cooked and ate together upstairs. The grounds are also meticulous and the pool was large enough for us all to use at the same time. The villa is gated and there is an external laundry room which you can use too. Everything about Palmeiras Cottages was fantastic. It’s tranquil without being remote. It’s only a short drive in to Portimao, but there are also some really nice authentic family run restaurants nearby. I would also like to thank Celine & Thierry for their generous hospitality. They are the perfect hosts and nothing was to much trouble for them. They even gave us a return lift to a nearby restaurant so that we could all have a drink! I would definitely recommend a stay here if you’re in the Portimao area. We hope to go back soon.
