Great location, very comfortable and clean accommodations, exceptional communication from host.

We had no complaints.

The apartment was as pictured but with an additional couch which worked well for our family of five. It was well positioned right in the heart of old town Monterosso with easy access to everything. The apartment was clean and modern with good facilities. The air conditioning in every room was great and my daughter discovered a quiet mode on the remote which made a real difference. I liked that we had a code to initially access the apartment but then had a key to lock up which felt more secure than the code. There are quite a few steps to access the apartment which may be an issue for some but not for us and to be expected in the Cinque Terre.

There was a little noise from the street but not too bad and to be expected being in the middle of town. Worse noise came from the residents or guests in the level above who were very heavy footed and moved furniture a lot. The noise noted in other reviews from the church bells wasn’t really an issue for us and started at what I consider to be a very reasonable hour of 7.30am. It was actually a lovely sound each morning.

Very spacious, newly renovated, strong AC, provided everything we needed.

Great location for eateries, old town city center, access to beach, access to water taxi to other towns. Beautiful apartment. Would be perfect for family or several couples traveling together. Such lovely attention to detail. Great kitchen (but so many great restaurants nearby that kitchen wasn't used much). A/C works great & a blessing for hotter months.

Booking.com advertised that this location had a water view. This was not true. Canceled a different room reservation specifically to have this location with "Ocean view." Another booking.com summary states, "It features sea views...throughout the property." NOT TRUE. Notified owner of miscommunication/misunderstanding. She said she'd reach out immediately to booking.com to adjust the wording so as not to mislead future guests. She did not offer us a reduced rate or any compensation for the misunderstanding.

The apartment is very comfortable; quite a few steps to get there but is worth it. Restaurants and shops are all walking distance.

We had to constantly google translate into English all messages from host who always wrote in Italian. No big deal, but it was the first time in years of traveling to Italy that I had to resort to this . Also, future visitors don’t forget to buy sanitary/toilet paper. Is a precious commodity and hosting entity does not like to supply sufficient. Do not expect any help or support on basic recreation in Monterosso. Not a good hosting entity.
