Nice apartment, really helpful and friendly staff

As a solo traveller it was a little out of the way to the bars and restaurants. Not suitable for people with walking difficulties as it's up a steep hill

No TV

De ligging, geen radio en tv, voldoende vrije parkeerruimte, vriendelijk personeel, ruim appartement, heerlijk balkon, proper, geregeld schone handdoeken en beddengoed en paar keer per week werd er schoongemaakt.

Doorgezakte bank en stoel in de huiskamer, nogal minimale keukenuitrusting, ongezellige witte verlichting. Buren rookten op het balkon waardoor ons balkon en onze slaapkamer in de rooklucht kwamen. Er staan asbakken op de balkons dus het was blijkbaar toegestaan. Maar geeft overlast en is niet meer van deze tijd.

Keys were left in apartment door as reception was closed on day of arrival. I’d to wait to check in the following day so a couple of queries had to wait. I liked the peace and quiet of the room so I could rest and it provided that. Cleanliness generally was excellent, the domestic staff were hard working and very friendly.

The fact that we were instructed not to flush any toilet paper down the toilet but to put it in a bin (the bin was not sanitary sealed) at the side of the toilet, even when soiled. It also included female sanitary towels which made more sense but the bin was wholly inadequate and should’ve sealed shut after deposits. I was given to understand there was an issue with the size of the waste pipe but it was a very unpleasant to have to do and unless you wanted to smell whatever you out in that bin for days you had to dispose of it yourself across the street in a public recycling bin. I personally went and bought ‘doggie poo bags’ to make this less disgusting for all concerned and used them each time the toilet was used. Second thing was the Wi-Fi. It was worse than poor. It would not stay connected in the room and kept cutting off so it was no use for any sort of communication purposes which was very important. To get better access I had to ask what could be done and was advised to ask for a key to access the children’s play room which was not exactly convenient or comfortable and had to be done during the day. I would’ve liked to have sat in the comfort of my room and also to have been able to speak to my family in the evening to let them know how I was doing and see my grandson and that wasn’t possible. Third thing, although it didn’t affect me personally but is perhaps a point worth noting……is that the children’s room has no books in English so English speaking children would not have found this helpful nor comfortable. The dominance of the German language is understandable if the apartments are geared to German nationals but I was not alone in being an English speaking guest and even the information in the therapy room was in German. Having to continually ask for clarification of information from people rather than just read it for myself was off putting. Points that may be helpful :-a second sun bed on the balcony would be good when two people occupy the room

Great complex, very clean and very quiet. Great pool facilities and restaurant/bar

No tv or microwave but no big deal

The staff were so friendly at reception and the cleaner was also very friendly

The room was very nice, spacious had everything you need Lovely sea view Can't really comment on the staff as I never saw any other than a lovely cleaning lady who phoned us a taxi to the airport

No shop other than an orangic one which was quite expensive No pool side bar Up a massive hill
