CAOur host Irene was wonderful. She doesn’t speak English and our Italian is no better but we communicated using Google Translate and we shared lots of laughs. She was kind to give us fresh figs from her trees on a couple of occasions. The location in a residential home with a view to the water and a large balcony made the accommodation very relaxing and comfortable. The home inside and out was very well maintained. The kitchen was well stocked with everything one would need. I would just suggest Irene provide a good chopping knife as the only knives available were steak knives. There are lots of screened windows and the home is very bright and colourful. We left all of our windows wide open all day and night for 3 days and allowed the breezes to flow through. There is lots of street parking. There is a suitable grocery store in the area and a very easy walk to restaurants and cafes all within walking distance. There is a full size grocery store Eurospin 7 kms away in Carovigno.
USThe Villa was lovely, immaculate, with a well stocked kitchen (spices, olive oil, coffee, tea and water. The host was very helpful even giving us a much needed ride to the train station early in the morning. We would definitely stay there again. Oh and they have the cutest little dog.
CZThe apartment was clean, spacious and had everything we needed, including tea, coffee, toast and jam, washing machine, coffee maker… we had a nice and pleasant stay, visited the nice beaches, Ostuni and Alberobello. The owners live downstairs and are very helpful and nice.
