Casa Mary

The apartment was very well equipped, coffee, wine, spices, all kitchenware etc. The location requires that you come with your own transport. At two kilometers are several restaurants, that need reservations, as they are crowded.

Nothing.

We stayed here for 11 nights with our three young boys and were so happy with our choice. The third bed in the living room is actually separate from the sofa (not just converted sofa), which was nice because our son could have his bed in the day and we could still use the sofa. There's a nice little beach that's very easy to access from the apartment, which has interesting rock pools for the kids to explore. Also easy to continue walking around the coast on the rocks, which we did often. And there's another beach with a bit of sand a 3-minute walk away. There are some very good seafood restaurants in Tajao. We also enjoyed being away from the crowds further south, but still felt we had easy access to activities. As others have mentioned, there's everything you need in this apartment. And if something is missing, the host is extremely responsive via WhatsApp. She met us when we arrived and even had another person to help translate. The apartment is small-ish but lovely, well maintained, and very clean. The bathroom is a little narrow when you're trying to get multiple kids showered after swimming, but that's a small thing. All in all, a lovely stay and one of the easiest places we've stayed in away from home with our kids. I highly recommend. Thank you, Mari.

Absolutely fabulous hosts! Mary and her husband are wonderful people who made me feel like family. They created a very safe and hospitable environment. The home exceeded all expectations! Champagne in the fridge, coffee, water, etc. all ready for my arrival.

Make sure to rent a car. The location is a bit out of the way - which makes for a perfect, tranquil vacation! But car is needed for groceries and/or restaurants.
