Good location

There was no electricity on the first day, and the host claimed he did not know anything. Apartment is on 7th floor, with no elevator working. It was not known when and if electricity was coming back. Host then denied that electricity was out and claimed that there was a post. I talked to a person renovating the next apartment over, and a renter in the building, and both confirmed that there was no warning. If there was a warning, why did host not communicate this to me? I would not book again

The apartment is clean and has everything needed appliances-wise. The host provides towels, hand soap and 2 rolls of toilet paper for the bathroom. There is a hair drier and two extra blankets. The view of the ocean is very beautiful.

The apartment is located at the feet of a steep hill【 (literally on the ocean), and there is only 1 minimarket. That's it. The restaurant was closed so to eat you have to buy everything before making your way down. Please consider buying water and coffee also before . This was not clear to us when booking. The road is also very steep, no illumination. Needs to be done by car and expert driver. This is nothing to do with the apartment, but I feel like it needs to be more clear how you are definitely isolated. No cellphone reception also.

Clean flat, and has almost everything you need. Beautiful view from the window. Near a nice beach. For the money - good.

No wifi, and uncomfortable beds. There are no cafes or restaurants nearby, only one small shop. It would be not easy without a car.

The view is amazing and right outside the building there is a big black Sandy beach.

The furniture is old, the two beds weren't anywhere near good to sleep in. The sofa in the living room is all ripped and very dirty, stained. The bed in the bedroom has an old mattress that keeps everyone awake as it makes sounds every inch you move. The kitchen furniture is old, dirty, sticky. The pans are used as well. Good number of plates.the freezer smells, the washing machine is very old, rusty and it damages your clothes. You can hear the sound of the waves even if the windows are shut. No place in the living room closet as it is full of old unnecessary things. The only closet available is in the bedroom, but we didn't used it.its in a bad shape. We had to ask the owner for a inflatable mattress to avoid using the dirty and ripped bed in the living room..he gaved us the mattress after 2nights of sleeping on the living room bed..and after we kept on asking him for a day or so to help us at least with an inflatable mattress.

The view and the balcony with the big glass windows is beautiful, the apartment is tastefully decorated and the host was very responsive and nice. Wifi worked well. You could tell everything was nicely cleaned but there is a big ant problem.

The main reason why I can't give a higher score to this accommodation are the ants. There were sooo many tiny ants everywhere, I was super worried we would get some in our luggage and accidentally bring them home because it's a freaking pain in the *** to get rid of them once you have them. In the kitchen I was missing the water heater (to boil water for tea) and the coffee machine was leaking water so we didn't use it because the water spilled on the counter and floor. The walls are quite thin so the first night I couldn't sleep because our neighbours had the TV on loud enough to wake me up (I tried knocking on their door but they just screamed in Spanish and didn't open, later the host talked to them and the rest of the stay was more peaceful). Also on arrival it was a little difficult to find the apartment because after collecting the keys and getting to the right floor, there were only three closed doors with no numbers on, and this wasn't specified in the instructions how to get there, so we were confused. There is no cell phone signal on the floor so we couldn't contact the host. I guess normally one of the doors is open so you see the hallway where the apartments are. (I also had quite a bad allergic reaction (it appeared/worsened only in the apartment) to something in the apartment, I'm guessing it was either the ant bites or perhaps some laundry detergent for the bed sheets. It went away when I got back home and never had it since.) Honestly if there were no ants the apartment wouldn't be as low rated but the thing that really really worried me the whole stay was getting ants in the luggage and having an infestation in our home when we return. So honestly, until there are no ants any more I really cannot recommend this stay, no matter how nice the owner was.

The place is nice and clean but the sheets and towels are pretty old. It can be improved by adding some basics.

The apartment has everything one needs for a short stay and has a balcony with couch and ocean view. Very close to a beach and natural pools, there's a small shop in next building (useful as there's not much else around, at least in February)
