Everything was perfect, from the host's support to the condition of the room.

Comfortable, great location, well appointed. Beds were the best I've slept in while travelling through Europe. Would stay here again.

Very nice location, don't expect much scenic views but is reasonably priced and good for guest who stay inside less and goes out more. Almost all needs were met with small amenities and it was commendable how they managed to renovate that old property and brought it up to modern hospitality standards.

The caretaker doesn't reside inside the property, we had to press the bell for some time and then somebody picked up, had to wait approx 15-20 mins after our arrival for the care taker to arrive and open the door. We booked a small room for a small family with a toddler, the search query listed this and also the options during booking allowed us to select that room and even had the opportunity to select a cot additionally and accepted by the property. However, while we arrived we were informed and shown that the room is too small for a cot. So, the options and listings provided by the property (or Booking website) should be correct to actual search query and should not leave any scope of miss-judgements by customers.

We rang the bell and were met and shown the apartment and given the key. Very easy.

Great location. The room is clean and quiet.

The owner could be a little bit more responsive. There is hardly any flat surface in the kitchen. It also lacks a dryer, which makes washing the dishes a pain.

Enjoyed the private entry way with patio area to dine if needed. Personal welcome and appreciated the ability to accommodate English. I had my toddler son with me, and the 1 bedroom apartment was a great layout and size for the price.

The location was in easy walking distance to everything we wanted to see and do. The apartment was clean and comfortable.

It wasn't clear to me that parking would be in a paid public parking lot at $12/day. This lot can get very crowded during the day with difficulty finding a place when you return even after pre-paying. There are some free parking places on the streets but we weren't able to find an open space on the day we arrived so paid for 3 days in the nearby paid lot. It's helpful for people reserving this apartment to budget $12/day for parking and understand that it will be a few blocks away and possibly over-crowded when they return from outings. It is helpful to understand that many cars come and go in the lot since it is used by those going to the Niederwald Monument. If the lot is full when you return, still drive in and wait for a space.
