Chalet Morin

Chalet Morin is the best highlight of my family trip.. the location is very strategic, in the middle of San Martino Badia. the distance to a large supermarket is about 5 minutes by car, there is 1 small minimarket 5 minutes walk from Chalet Morin. The view from chalet was really beautiful we can enjoy directly from living room. The facilities are well equiped for our family of 2 adults 2 children. Comfortable mattresses and pillows, very clean and tidy. the kitchen equipment for cooking is very complete. Maria our host is the friendliest and kindest person we have ever met as a host. always smiling and giving positive vibes. she even gave homemade apple juice and jams as a welcome gift. Not only that, in the morning before checking out Maria made us a typical South Tyrol cake, Apple Strudel. This cake is the most delicious cake we have ever enjoyed throughout the trip. If you want to explore the dolomites area, this chalet is very strategic because it is not far from the highlight spots in the Dolomites, it only takes about 1-2 hours to get to several places such as: lake braies, seceda, alpe di suise, etc. If I have the chance to visit the Dolomites again I will not hesitate to stay at Chalet Morin again. It's not a big deal, but it would be perfect if there was a washing machine and dryer here. Although Maria happily offered us to do some laundry but I know she's also work somewhere else and so I don't want make her tired or bothered

Everything was very clean and nice. Beds were good and the host was very kind and responsive. Beautiful area and nice view. Loved it!

We had an amazing stay at Chalet Morin! The apartment was spotless and looked brand new, making it feel very welcoming and comfortable. The host went above and beyond—she was incredibly kind and hospitable, providing us with the most delicious homemade apple strudel and fresh eggs. These little touches made our experience extra special. We couldn’t praise her enough for making us feel so at home. Highly recommend Chalet Morin for anyone looking for a clean, cozy, and charming place to stay. We will definitely be back!

Beautiful chalet in a stunning rural location. Ideal if you are looking to get away from it all. Don't expect a large choice of restaurants etc, it is a very small quiet village. Daily views of the mountains were a real bonus. Landlady was so friendly and helpful, nothing was too much trouble and she went above and beyond. Chalet not overly large but well fitted it with most things you needed. We met so many lovely people in the tiny village. Local Cafe/bar Val was our favourite. Daily visits by the local cat a treat. Plenty of parking outside and welcome products in table on our arrival (juice and local jam). Very small supermarket in village but larger one at the bottom of nearby Piculin gondola. Ideal location for skiing both Kronplatz and La Villa or Badia as right in between. Loved it so much we have booked again for next year already.

The only things that could have improved it would have been a microwave and a washing machine. Very large cupboard in the hallway that would have easily accommodated one. We were there for 2 weeks so struggled with laundry. Landlady offered to do it for us but didn't like to trouble her. We took washing to a local wash service but it was soo expensive, 60 euros for one bag of washing to be washed and dried!

Really amazing place! You will never regret for choosing it. We love the homemade jam that prepared for us!

Nothing

Modern and beautiful appartment with a nice view. Host Mary is very kind and gave us some good ideas for activities in the neighborhoud. The welcome gift was a nice surprise! Big supermarket only 2km from the apartment.

For us it was no issue on the contrary but be aware that this a very small village with only 2-3 restaurants (good ones!) and a backerie. Quietness is the key of this appartment and town!

Stunning views, very comfortable and spacious accommodation. The aircon wasn't conventional cooling but keeping shutters closed during the day kept out the heat and it cooled down every evening. I will miss the beautiful views we had from the dining area and patio. The location was perfect for riding our motorbikes on the passes. We loved the furry feline visitors too.

The village was very small, but there are two good restaurant within 100 m and 2km a supermarket. Ladien Museum was also very interesting. You can access a variety of hiking about 20-30 minutes by car. The owner was also very kind and friendly. Thank you very much for the delicious eggs and juice! We can only recommend to stay here!
