Residencial Playa de La Arena

There wasn’t enough of the toilet paper and we had to buy it by ourselves.

Spacious, very good tv, sunbeds in the terrace, dishwasher. Communication with the hosts were good and easy. Mercadona near. It is up in the hill. The restaurants in the center are in 1,5-2 km distance.

Bad smell in the bathroom beside the main bedroom. Voices from other apartments were clearly heard.

The apartment is very roomy - two big bedrooms with separate bathrooms, an additional toilet on the first floor, huge living room. And private garage - it's a brilliant feature :) The kitchen is well-equipped with all the necessary tools.

There were no disadvantages.

We did get in sooner than the usual check in time, that was cool. It's a new house in a new residential complex There are 3 toilets, 2 bathrooms with double sinks, fully equipped kitchen, dishwasher, laundry machine.... details which provide a sens of comfort. There was handwasher, dishwasher tablets, laundry powder but no shower gel. It's near a supermarket at walking distance. There is a terrace, a balcony , tables, armchairs, couch, sunbeds.

The garage entrance it's basically on a turn of a narrow, sloped street. The lock on the entrance door wasn't operating very smoothly. The stairs inside the house are narrow, which is uncomfortable when you have to carry big suitcases. The house is in a residential complex with row houses and NO soundproofing whatsoever; we could hear the person next door taking a shower and having the impression that someone was taking a shower in our bathroom ; during a night my wife had the impression that someone was in our house, hearing walking steps next door. Luckily for us, the complex wasn't full during our stay, because the noise would have been unbearable ; crying children ( there was one family ), people speaking loudly ( 2 or 3 families ), etc - multiply this by 10 or 20 and you get the idea. The house might be new, but there are bathtubs with shower curtains and bidets ? I mean ..... seriously ?! The air conditioning upstairs was noisy and ineffective - maybe because the filter wasn't changed, as indicated on the unit's control panel. Someone might say that I'm picky ; well, when I'm being charged almost 500 EUR per night, I am ; for me, "HIGH" should work both ways, HIGH PRICE=HIGH EXPECTATIONS !

Very spacious with great views. Close to a couple of supermarkets and a really nice tapas restaurant.

To get down to Playa Arena was a very steep walk and quite tiring going back up

Spacious house with everything we needed for our stay. Santa was an excellent host and did everything to make our stay as comfortable as possible.

Some windows frames and locks were not working properly.
