"Lovely apartment with spectacular views."

Spectacular location. Well appointed. Wonderful roof terrace with extraordinary view. Lovely village. Very friendly. Great enoteca and a couple of very good restaurants. Highly recommended.

"Fantastic place to enjoy and explore Val d'Orcia!"

The location is perfect and the hosts were very attentive and "molto gentile". We wished we could have stayed even longer :) Castiglione d'Orcia is a lovely and quite village with everything you need (supermarket, 3 restaurants, bar, enotica) when coming home from day trips exploring Tuscany. We can highly recommend the apartment in a historic house in the historic center!

The apartment is beautiful and very well equiped and kept. We had there everything we needed. The terrace with a stunning view is a unique place. The house is centrally located in a historical Tuscan town.

I cannot think of anything.

Fantastic little apartment in a characteristic little Tuscan hill town away from the mad tourist crowds.

The low ceiling is has a lot of character, but it limits the space where you can stretch out and relax

Amazing views from all windows and the terrace , looking over the historic town and stunning landscape. Helpful host and immaculate villa. Beautiful, quiet town with good cafes, restaurants, small supermarket, pharmacy. All you need for a holiday.

The location is perfect in Castiglione for hiking to castles and exploring the two villages. Cafes and bars close by. The view from the deck was gorgeous. I would book if you are coming to the villages. Quaint village.

It was in a perfect location within a beautiful little square, it was near several shops ,cafes and restaurants. The terrace had such an amazing view of the local countryside! The apartment was very comfortable !

"Perfect holiday home"

The house was so homely and comfortable. Very clean. The setting was just perfect. Roof terrace was just the icing on the cake. The village was very pretty with a good shop, co-op and enough Restaurants/cafes to treat yourself.

I guess if you struggle with walking, then getting around the village might be difficult, personally I didn't find it a problem.
