Very clean place in a good location.

Cheapest option to stay in private casa in El Centro. Clean, modern kitchen and bathroom. Good AC. Helpful host.

The host lady could not made working her credit card terminal, so you can suddenly find yourself looking for ATM for 200+ dollars of cash. The door has 2 cheap locks which have to be unlocked simultaneously, and you can not leave the house with one key, because they will lock both when you close the door. There are no normal windows. Nearby cafés will keep music on all night, good luck to try to sleep with lowbass rythmic sound. Safety concern - see photos. The locked door can be opened with a hard push. Some SCREWDRIVER holds the door. Other door has only tiny latches. "Portable" safebox, lol. Did not like to open/close door under scrutiny of local street thugs.

We arrived at midnight, and the host send someone to do the check-in, so that was nice! Also for check-out we had some issues ourselves but the host was very accomodating The casa is located in the center of the walled city. You can walk here at night, no problem. Bring some earplugs as you hear a lot of noise from the streets. Airconditioning worked perfectly. There are some basic cooking supplies available.

Somewhat more expensive in comparison to Medellin/Salento, but that's Cartagena :)

Super convenient location (although this does mean reasonably noisy at night). Really spacious. Clean and comfortable. Hot shower.

No outdoor area (not that the listing suggested there would be). Wifi mostly good but occasionally cut out. Apartment wasn’t ready when we arrived at 4pm but was prepared within 30mins.

The location was right in the historical centre with all the bars and restaurants right on the doorstep. But the street itself is relatively quiet, there was no loud music heard after 10pm. The place was cozy and clean and very spacious. The air cons worked really well on both floors, and very good fridge. There was a decent amount of cooking utensils so I was fine to cook in the flat. The host was very nice and welcoming.

Please change the top lock. It's not working properly, the key gets stuck and it sometimes took me quite a few minutes to get it out - standing on my own on the street at night trying to fumble with the key was quite uncomfortable. Also there was some white powder (crumbling paint maybe?) falling from the ceiling onto the little sofa in the bedroom so all my clothes that were there had that powder on them.

Well located

Upon our arrival at 5pm the apartment was not ready. The person meeting us looked surprised as if she wasn’t expecting us. We were told to wait half an hour for the owner to arrive so we left our stuff, our phone number and went for a walk. Since noone contacted us in the next our and a half, we went back to the apartment. The owner was there with some friends in the living room and wasn’t very nice or welcoming. It seemed strange that she had invited some people to the apartment where we had left all our belongings..
