Hermoso Apartamento Amoblado

The host was very responsive and helpful. She was always in contact with us and very helpful with providing information about the area around the apartment. The apartment was clean and pretty quiet. It was very easy to catch a cab from either corner and there are little tiendas and drug stores around for anything you might need. We never felt unsafe, but we were vigilant with making sure we kept our belongings close. We never used the kitchen because there are so many really delicious restaurants to choose from within a 10 minute drive. The beds were comfortable and the air conditioning in the bedrooms was perfect.

No hot water, there was no view from our apartment. No washing machine. There's no a/c in the living room so if you want to stay cool, you have to stay in the bedrooms. The first code that we were given to enter the building was not working. The location... Many of the cab drivers kept telling us that the building is great, but the area is dangerous and not to go out at night. We didn't have any problems, but it was very obvious to the locals that we were not from around there. Every time we walked out of the building, all eyes were on us. It didn't make us feel unsafe, and we still ventured out at night and walked around the neighborhood. Many of the cab drivers also told us not to use our phones to do video, especially out the window of the car, as motorists are likely to drive by and steal your phone from you. We never had a problem and we stayed for a week.

Convenient location, 10 min walk to Marbella Beach, grocery store just around the corner. Air conditioning functioned well and beds were comfortable. Secure building. Hosts were very helpful and responsive, especially when we had a problem with the TV.

Poor quality kitchen utensils. Living room furniture not very comfortable. No access to the pool despite several requests. Closets need more hangers, and a fan for the living room would be helpful.
