Apartamento en Edificio Murano ELITE frente a las Playas de Bocagrande

location was perfect. very nice grocery 2 blocks away. the beach is across the street, a nice mall is two blocks down with a good food court plus several nice restaurants.

It’s located in a decent spot in the northern part of Bocagrande. You could walk to the walled city if you wanted to. The big mall is just a block away. The beach is just across the street.

The apartment is pretty worn. There are lots of holes in the wall and loose fixtures. Various drawers and towel bars simply fall off entirely. No hand towels or paper towels are provided, just two bath towels and two pool towels. Laundry machine but no detergent. It’s more of a side view of the ocean, not a front view. The air conditioning unit in the living room is very dirty, and its vents are covered in a black film. The staff at the building is unfriendly. The pool on either the third floor or rooftop could be closed at any time during the day, and if you try to go to the other one, the staff will reprimand you (yes, a reprimand) and send you back to the one that was closed, saying someone will come to unlock the gate. They neglected to process or confirm the payment at check-in, and I got a text two days later saying we were staying in an unpaid apartment. I said it was booked with my credit card on booking.com, even sent them the confirmation, but they claimed not to have it. So the agent came and took the payment manually on one of those personal swipe readers. I’ve been watching for a second charge, and so far none has occurred, but the level of overall unprofessionalism between the building, apartment, and staff really bothered me.

The bed and sofa are comfortable and the location is good. The AC works well.

Majority of the chairs in the unit are broken (outside and inside). Only one roll of toilet paper for each bathroom. No hand soap. Walls are scuffed up. The towel rack in one of the bathrooms comes off. There was hair strands in the drawer of one of the bathroom. The sheets on the bed are stained.

It exceeded my expectations. Its a 20 min walk or 20 min ride to walled city. The main road sometimes has traffic during rush hour.

- dirty spots on second bed - dirty, blood-like spots on sofa and "bench" near the table - A/C, while fast, looked dusty, which gave us allergies - No hairdryer and no shampoo - One of the chairs was mostly broken and unstable - Only 2 toilet paper rolls and no foot mat in front of the shower - View from the window was pretty bad

Location was perfect because everything is close to it so you can go walking anywhere.
