Parking in the basement and 15 min walk to the city centre

2nd floor and no lift so 3 floors from the car parking. There is a stale / not fresh smell in the whole apartment and I noticed plaster on the bedroom wall bulging inwards suggesting damp or previous damp. It’s not very strong and was ok for our 3 nights but not for longer

The apartment is situated on a quiet street. It is spacious and quite comfortable. The kitchen is good and fairly well-equipped. The apartment is clean and well-maintained. The train station is a 5 minute walk. There are plenty of cafes, bars and grocery stores in the area. It's a great choice for short stays; we were here for 5 nights. It would also be excellent for stays of 2 weeks or more.

There really isn't much to complain about. We were happy with our choice. Having experienced various accommodations throughout Spain and Portugal, this was a very good find!

- The apartment was clean and the property owner was helpful and quick in responding to questions - The kitchen is well equipped for cooking and eating during the stay - At my arrival, there was already someone waiting with the key and basic instructions about the property - The dedicated parking lot in the garage was great because parking spaces are scarce in the area. However, the car should not be bigger than a VW Golf or Seat Ibiza.

Although the apartment was described as "non-smoking", it smelled heavily of cigarette smoke when I arrived, especially in the bedroom. There were also burn marks on the bed sheets and the bedroom floor. After one week of venting the whole apartment, the stench became bearable. However, I had to wash all my unused clothes after returning home, as they picked up the smell. This is unacceptable for a non-smoking apartment and it costs at least 3 points in this review :-( ! There was also no chance to change the apartment. Some minor things: - During my stay there was some noisy construction work within the building and the adjacent building. Bad luck for me... - The apartment should be equipped with a vacuum cleaner. During my two-week stay, a lot of dust accumulated. - There were enough towels for the whole period but only one set of bed sheets. It would have been nice to have at least one additional set of fresh bed sheets for a two-week stay.

Great unit, very clean and spacious. Very close to the train station, bus transport and a supermarket.

The unit being on the second floor, although the host very graciously carried my suitcase up the stairs for me.

We arrived early and our host came straight away and let us into the apartment.

No lift.
