Boven café, zéér vriendelijke en behulpzame uitbater.

Niets, was zoals verwacht. Ideaal voor cyclotouristen, misschien minder voor gezinnen met kleine kinderen.

Als je opzoek bent naar een vriendelijke gastheer ben je hier op de juiste plek. Je komt terecht in een huiselijke sfeer. De slaapkamers zijn groot.

De keuken was beneden in het restaurant. Het was even aanpassen. Maar uiteindelijk vind je je weg wel.

Loads of room, comfy beds, and lovely shower. The owner is super friendly and gave us a nice welcome. Enjoyed great beer down below in a real locals cafe. Was only a one night stay for us, but would have liked to explore more.

Very cosy, like in the picture. Fit for 6 person family. Love the decoration and fitting in the house.

Steep stairs but only need to take one level upstairs

Helpful staff as we made the booking last minute and the room was ready in very short notice.

Big apartment but heat was only in the living room. During cold season could be tough for those who can't handle cold.

Host is perfect. Wi Fi - too. Actually, there is cozy bar on the first floor of house and and it's great to drink a Belgian beer after a long walk

The accommodation was reasonable value for money and large enough for at least 4 people.

We stayed two separate nights. Both times, we arrived within the time slot that I had originally entered on booking.com when making my booking. Both times, the owner was not present at the property and we had to wait 20-30 mins for him to turn up. Several areas inside the property were dusty. The coffee mugs provided (and the container they were in) were encrusted with dirt and we had to wash them before use. The only entrance to the apartment is via the kitchen of the bar on the ground floor below the apartment, to which the owners/bar staff also had access. We could find no way to lock the apartment separately to the kitchen downstairs. The listing said that a kitchen was available, but the only kitchen was the bar kitchen. Several of the light bulbs in the apartment had expired. The bedside lamps were operated via remote controls, but there were only 2 controls for 3 bedrooms - and on our first visit, the remote control was not brought to my attention, so we had no idea how to turn on the lamps; I had to ask specifically on the second visit. I am British and I prefer to a) have a lock on the bathroom door (there wasn't) and b) for bedrooms and bathrooms to have non-transparent doors (the doors were all made of glass of varying degrees of opacity).

Mr. Claude's good manners, the spaciousness of the apartment, its cleanliness, and its high-quality furniture.

‏Perhaps its relative distance from the capital Brussels, and its distance from the shops, but the beauty of the apartment, the beauty of the place, and Mr. Claude's generosity and willingness to serve make up for that.
