Ilya Botanic Suites

This property was beautiful. The grounds were neat and well kept, we were upgraded to a room with a sea view, and Dimitris our host was exceptional!! Dimitris was there to greet us on arrival with keys and to help with our luggage. He was always available to help with questions, and he was extremely helpful with getting taxis, helping to arrange scooter rentals, and helping us arrange an outing with Captain Pakis on his tour boat. Dimitris got up early to help us with our luggage at check out despite our insistence we were fine. He recently had guests that had trouble with a taxi and he wanted to ensure our taxi arrived on time. Honestly, I can’t say enough good things about Dimitris and his property.

I had a wonderful stay in a beautiful location. Everything was perfect. The room was beautifully designed, chic, spacious, light and comfortable. I loved the peaceful, natural surroundings - olive trees with glimpses of the sea in the distance, the smell of herbs growing around the building, the use of natural materials, and the jacuzzi - bliss ! I appreciated the private beach area with comfy loungers, parasols and beach equipment such as the SUP boards. The service was superb and friendly without being intrusive. Dimitiris is an obliging and accessible host who will try to resolve any issues that may arise. When it looked as though my return ferry might be cancelled due to bad weather, Dimitiris reassured me that a solution would be found (possibly chartering a private boat). Which turned out to be unnecessary, but it was good to know there was a potential solution at the time. I can't wait to go back.

Architecturally awarded rooms by the sea!

- The appartment was beautiful - The jacuzzi was very nice to relax - Dimitris is very kind and responsive

Even if the majority of people go eat outside, the kitchen should have the basic equipments to cook (we asked for them and they gave us some equipments)

Close proximity to the sea in a beautiful setting with friendly staff and lovely outside patio with great views.

We made or own breakfast.

We felt that a toaster would have been a useful tool as we had to use the saucepan with butter in it to make toast./ I also felt that we needed somewhere to hang wet clothes as we were asked not to hang them on the front of the building which is quite fair. In the end I sent a pile to their laundry and it was washed and dried for me and not charged. If I had known that a little earlier in the week it would have been helpful. The plugs in the two bathroom basins would not close so I couldnt wash my clothes in that so had to use the kitchen sink.

Lovely apartment with only short 5 min walk to the restaurants at Steni Vala and supermarket. The Glyfa beach was where there was a private beach and sun lounges for residents of the Ilya Suites and Botanic suites. Dimitri was a fabulous host making sure of everything.

We really would have liked a toaster as we had to use small frypan, put butter in to panfry toast. I had nowhere to hang wet clothes that I had washed in kitchen sink so ended up sending out and they came back washed with no charge.
