Front Line Beach Apartment in Son Serra

Great location away from tourists but with convenient facilities (small supermarket, 5 or so restaurants) and a nice beach nearby. There is both a rocky shore and a sandy beach. You could bring footwear for a swim, but there are also parts where it's all sand. The apartment is very well equipped, including some amenities like soap, washing liquid, plenty of towels (including beach towels), some kitchen stuff (olive oil, herbs etc). Contact with the host was easy and very helpful. Would highly recommend for families with small kids (ours were 0 and 2 at the time). Great base for exploring how much the kids like the beach. Nearby restaurants were also very child friendly (including all day kitchen).

I didn't like the use of external communication systems (whatsapp and their own website for collecting passport information), I would prefer to keep all communication within booking.com to minimize the risk of phishing etc.

The location in front of the beach is fantastic and you will never get tired of the view from the terrace. The apartment is big and well equipped. Our contact person Lorena was fantastic and helped us with all our questions and requests.

No barbecue or dish washer, only air condition in one of the three bedrooms. The big issue and the reason that I don't give a 10 point review is that the house administration company didn't pay back the damage deposit at checkout as it was stated in the rental contract. In the following days I was in contact with them several times in order to get my money back. I contacted Booking.com after receiving an email from the admin company saying they were going to hold my deposit for another 14 days for no reason at all. After the contact with Booking.com I got my deposit back the same day.
