Vivienda Agaete Paradise

Uroczy domek, w bliskiej odległości od plaży - wyposażenie bez zarzutów, pralnia, żelazko oraz suszarka (do włosów i do ubran) do użytku. Kuchnia wyposażona w potrzebna zastawe, dużo garnków i patelni do przygotowywania posiłków + kawiarka:) wygodne łóżka, nie mam się do czego przyczepić, chętnie wrócę :-) WiFi takie że bez problemu byliśmy w stanie popracować kilka dni.

The accommodation was clean and pleasant and in a great location.

The check in process was terrible. I informed the owner a few days beforehand, and then again in the morning before we arrived, that we would be arriving between 8-9pm. He told us he would meet us at the property. I also reminded him that we had requested a cot. When we duly arrived between 8-9pm, no one was there and only after failing to find the property and calling the owner was I sent some instructions. These instructions were almost entirely in pictorial form and were not easy to understand having arrived in the dark. When we finally entered the property there was no cot provided, which wasn't ideal when we had a sleeping baby in the car. The owner provided a cot a bit before 10.30pm. The experience was not how I wanted to start a holiday.

The location was superb as it was very close to the beach, restaurants, shops, cafes and bus stop. The bonus was the private parking space as there was no spare space on the road, even in January. The downside was that the garage door did not work throughout the stay. The accomodation was comfortable for two people for a week although the house, furniture and fittings are very dated. Rustic would be the polite term.

The house was not properly clean. It needs a deep clean as two cockroaches came into the bathroom and kitchen in one week. The cutlery and pans were not clean. We eventually found the tv remote control down the back of a chair (along with a child' sock). The batteries were flat and although I asked for new ones, we did not get any. The garage door was a nuisance. There is no paperwork to give the necessary details for the accomodation, e.g. checkout procedure, whether we should empty the bins, and if so where? Then again, that should be covered by the cleaning fee. No details of how the appliances work. This was not necessary for us but it can help others. The photpcopied pamphlets etc. were old.

The house was just fine for me and my brother, and had everything we needed. Having two toilets is a boon. The house is in a great position, just a few minutes' walk to the sea, and with a shop and several restaurants in easy walking distance. It has a little outside yard where it's nice to sit and have breakfast. The house is in a pedestrian precinct, and so is lovely and quiet, with no traffic noise. There is parking available in an underground garage, which is very useful as parking on the street is always busy. Just one thing - the arrival instructions should tell you that you need to collect the keys from the house BEFORE you can get the car in the garage, because you need the fob on the key ring to open the garage door!

The wifi was a little bit flaky - it dropped out quite a bit. It didn't matter to us much, as we were out walking every day in the fantastic volcanic mountains and nature reserves.

All furniture need upgrade. It was weared.
