Great value, spacious & modern

If I am being picky, would have liked an oven, larger dinner plates, more glasses including wine glasses . Beds were a bit squeaky but otherwise fine & more pillows would be good. Apartment is up a small hill but it's not far.

We drove from UK arriving at midday on the Saturday of check in - very accommodating as brought us the keys to unload the car, park up and go skiing for the rest of the day. The apartment has a stunning view and a large balcony. The apartment itself was very roomy and comfortable with lovely shower rooms. It is well designed and feels modern and updated. Was pleasantly surprised to see kitchen paper, cling film, foil and washing up liquid. Plenty of plates, mugs, glasses etc. The kitchen really does have all you need to cook and prepare food. Unusually and welcome too were the drawers full of toilet roll - not the usual rations! Staying in Salbaach would not hesitate to book this lovely apartment again and would recommend it. The Kogelbahn lift has a car park underneath that you can park for for free with you ski pass - we did this on the Saturday we left the apartment and skied all day before setting off.

Not a dislike at all - more some comments. Agree that the road down is very steep and even steeper after a few drinks on the way home! But it's really short so short lived effort getting up there! The slope just by the apartment was challenging for our beginner skiers as it is very shiny/icy and narrow but it is easy enough to walk down if you need to. Re the apartment would suggest some place and drinks mats for the table to protect it and some heat bearing mats for dishes on the table. Also although storage was good some more hooks on doors etc would be useful to hang up wet smelly ski gear! One final thing - been said before but please ignore the google maps directions - you need to turn immediately right the second you come out of the tunnel.

Helpful owners once they understood our predicament having walked up the steep mountain road in the dark with luggage due to poor directions.

Booking.com instruction poor with regard to where to pick up keys. Lack of user friendly directions. Really need to warn people about how steep the road is. Okay for us but tricky carrying heavy luggage. Apartment could do with a fact sheet explaining check out, cleaning, fire safety drill.

Good sleep for a great value! Location on the top of the town main-street, awesome view on the mountains. During bike-season you can get from Panorama-trail directly to your apartment without pedalling :) Fully equipped kitchenette. Few minutes walk to the Mitterer hotel where you receive the keys and may taste some local cuisine (I really recommend to do it!!) Private parking appreciated much - easy access without a need to enter walking city-center area. Driving hint: when you exit from tunnel, then turn first sharp right up the hill (small street) - https://goo.gl/maps/x4JamexXXh3Rc9B58 The hotel & restaurant is managed directly by landlord family, so you feel care and great service through every contact. Already looking forward for next visit there!

location, comfort, close to the slopes and center, everything nearby, silent place

great location in the centre of town. you can ski in from the nursery slope at night too. staff really friendly and helpful.

10am checkout when we had a late flight was a bit of a pain but in fairness to the hotel, they were perfectly fine with storing our luggage securely until our cab came later in the day.
