PARQUE SANTIAGO 1 LUXURY APARTAMENT (Playa de las Américas)

Comfortable, clean, contemporary apartment in smart, central, friendly complex. Beds & pillows the most comfortable I’ve ever slept in on holiday. lExcellent location - quiet but within a few minutes walk of beach, shops, restaurants & bars. Pool area very clean, nicely planted & with plenty of sunbeds for hire (£2.50 + £1 for mattress). Nice complex cafe which does good breakfast & lunch & cocktail hour late afternoon. Small supermarket for essentials at front entrance The owner allowed us a later check out. The people who stay in this complex were so friendly & kind. Many were long term winter lets. I broke my ankle on day 2 & the kind lady (Val 🥰) in the apartment next to me contacted the complex manager who provided a free wheelchair so I could get about the resort once I was on the ground floor. Other residents carried my luggage to the taxi the day I left & returned the wheelchair. The owner also kindly offered to make up the sofa bed so I didn’t need to use the additional stairs to the bedroom.

I broke my ankle & the complex has no lifts, so I had to go up & down the 2 flights of stairs on my bum. Luckily the steps were super clean!! I understand lifts are going to be installed in the future. The apartment faces north so doesn’t get any winter sun, but apparently lots the rest of the year.

The host was very good The place was spotless Bottle of wine and water on arrival Washing machine came in handy Home from home

Only fault was the pool area was busy due to the sister apartments getting work done on the pool area.
