It was perfect location for walking to town and our new favorite restaurant Morphos La Cabina

The bed is VERY firm. We had a hard time sleeping because we have a softer bed. A fan for circulation would be nice too.

When we arrived the owner kept us waiting outside for 45 mins saying he was on his way, then phoned us to say he had to cancel us he’d double booked. Then had the cheek to accuse us of being negative , at 530pm dark and raining with no transport to find somewhere else!!! Terrible service I do not recommend him to anyone

We found coffee for the morning. As well we get opportunity to use the washing machine. The flat was super clean and the host gave us lot information about possible activities .

Above all, the host was exceptionally helpful and responsive (explaining how appliances work, booking tours and transportation) . The place is located in a calm quiet neighborhood. All the facilities were in good conditions and the kitchen was well equipped. Very nice shower! There was a huge outside area with comfy sofas, a big table and hammocks. Good and fast wifi. Washing machine available and free.

Only the lack of storage for our belongings in the bedroom.

"What a wonderful cottage"

The cottage has been thoughtfully put together and has everything you need to enjoy a really wonderful stay in Monteverde. José was a great host, always answering our questions and assisting us when needed. The cottage is very comfortable, is situated in a nice area and the outside veranda is a bonus with the hammocks.

The cottage could just be ventilated a bit better but once all the windows are open there is no problem at all.

location was great… cute little place with everything we needed.. Jose was fantastic!

shared property with the house up front.. not very private.. also lots of mosquitoes and no screens on the windows.

The host Jose was very helpful, he helped us book al the trips, free of charge, with pick up at the cottage. The bedroom also had a nice tv with Netflix as a nice bonus
