Optimist Playa de Las Américas

Absolutely spectacular stay at the Optimist Apartment in Tenerife. The apartment was spotless, modern, comfortable, and honestly had everything you could possibly need for a perfect stay. The location is unbeatable — right next to shops, restaurants, beaches, and everything you need within walking distance. Diego was an amazing host from start to finish. He couldn’t have been any better — so helpful, welcoming, and always available if needed. He genuinely made the experience even more enjoyable. I honestly couldn’t fault a single thing about this apartment. It was perfect in every way, and I would 100% stay here again. Highly recommend to anyone visiting Tenerife!

Excellent apartment

Nothing not to like.

We really enjoyed our stay here as a couple, the apartment was beautiful and modern and the location was 10/10. In a quiet area and was very clean on arrival, balcony is great and warm but shaded from the sun. Air con and fan in room is very good. Pool is very nice, quiet most of the time which is nice, not much noise from pool during the day. One of the mangers meets you at the apartment upon arrival and there is another manager with quick reply who you can text if you need anything which is very convenient as it’s fully self catering ( no cleaners or reception etc)

The only negatives we have is that 1) only one set of keys, wouldn’t be suitable for people who wouldn’t be going places together all the time as the gates etc all need the key or fob 2) extra bed linen and towels were provided but the pillows and duvet were poor quality, mattress was very hard. 3) no toiletries or cleaning products supplied, not even the basics like soap and toilet roll and bin bags. had to buy our own laundry and washing products,bin bags, toilet roll, hand soap, disinfectant spray etc which was costly, I presumed there would be provided and we barely used half of what we had bought as we only stayed for 7 nights so was a waste of money buying all the products, place got grubby due to lack of cleaning supplies etc.

Appartamento pulito e ben accessoriato: lavatrice, lavastoviglie, piano cottura, microonde e piccoli elettrodomestici da cucina. Particolarmente silenzioso, perché esposto verso l'interno del residence, con terrazzo affacciato sulla piscina. Posizione del complesso eccellente, a breve cammino da spiaggia e centri commerciali e vicinissima alla fermata del bus 40 per l'aeroporto.

Fornitura molto limitata di articoli da bagno, circostanza comunque comune ad altre soluzioni abitative a Tenerife. Benché il terrazzo sia orientato verso est, la posizione dell'appartamento, al primo piano in corrispondenza ad un angolo interno del complesso, non lo rende particolarmente luminoso e riscaldato dal sole, specialmente nei mesi invernali, caratteristica che invece hanno tutti gli appartamenti dello stesso residence sul lato rivolto verso sud.
