The Old Doctors Retreat- Near Soho Farmhouse

The accommodation was excellent. Beautifully furnished and well equipped. Very comfortable stay. Situated in the quiet village of Sandford Saint Martin, close to a selection of pubs, restaurants and cafes. We couldn't have wished for anything better.

We had a wonderful stay! Such a beautiful and welcoming room with everything you could want and more - a comfortable bed, excellent shower, coffee machine, microwave and fridge. It has sloping ceilings but because of the windows on all sides it is light and airy. Claire was an excellent host and clearly has talent for interior design and genuinely cares about her guests and their experience.

Beautiful place sparkling clean with every little detail done perfectly. The host could not have been more welcoming and friendly and the bed was so comfy. In fact the pillows were so comfy. I ordered some for my home!! Would definitely recommend and go back

Our stay at Claire's place was nothing short of fantastic! From the moment we arrived, Claire went above and beyond to make our stay special. She surprised me with a birthday banner, adding a delightful personal touch to our visit. The room was impeccably made up, with all the amenities we could need for a comfortable stay. Claire's accommodating nature truly made us feel at home. Moreover, the location was ideal, just a short 10-minute drive from Soho Farm House, making it convenient for us to explore the area. We can't thank Claire enough for her hospitality and highly recommend her place to anyone looking for a memorable stay in the area. We'll definitely be back!

We had the cosiest of weekends in the gorgeous Old Doctor's Retreat. Beautifully furnished to the highest standard, Claire has thought of absolutely everything. Warmly greeted on arrival, we made our way upstairs to find ourselves in a small hallway with a fully equipped kitchenette on the left with provisions for breakfast, and a spacious bathroom on the right with very fluffy towels! Beyond was a very comfortable bedroom with sofa and TV. There is an information booklet which includes suggestions for the area. The room has wonderful views both across the quintessential Cotswold village on one side and across green fields on the other. We loved it there and highly recommended it. Planning a summer return. It was perfect!

We loved it!! It's such a lovely place, and we had everything you need for a weekend away. Lovely attention to detail and very comfortable. Claire was very easy to communicate with in the run-up and made us feel very welcome. Sweet little village, we booked it so we could go to Soho Farmhouse which was very close. Would 100% recommend and we'll be back!

This is. Beautifully presented loft studio, with a large en-suite, great little kitchen with quality finishes. Lots of little extras supplied helped us. The bed is very comfortable and the village is very quiet. Off street parking is great too. Claire is a great host
