Apartment Anastasia

Excellent location for bus and train connections. A well-sized appartment with large balcony. Plenty of utensils in kitchen, (too many perhaps A large bathroom with a powerful shower. Great area for walking and cycling.

Nothing critical, the pillows were not to my liking and the modern TV controls were beyond me even with the instructions. Having said that I do not go on holiday to watch TV. Garmisch is becoming a very quiet town in the evenings. The town has lost a lot of vibrancy in recent years. cable car prices have risen dramatically and many re-builds are little more than boxes. Others are very charmless and antiseptic. The scenery makes up for that.

The apartment is located 10 min from town center, so the connection to everything was great. Also this means that it was super easy to find a car parking spot. The apartment itself was really cute and had everything that was needed and extra: big TV, dishwasher, oven. The view from the balcony was not the best, but I was still able to enjoy the Alps.

The host could have provided shower gel/shampoo.

All apartaments was great.

Synthetic bedding, because of it, sleeping was not comfortable.

IT has to be well coordinated with the owner before arrival.

1. Location is perfect (quiet; only 2-5 minutes walk from the railway station and nearest Lidl supermarket, 10 minutes from the city center); 2. Apartment is clean and good equipped. Kitchenette has all necessary appliances (including toaster, coffeemaker and baking oven). The bedding is fresh; 3. A spacious terrace with a picturesque view; 4. Helpful staff;

1. Sometimes we could hear the noises from the neighbors downstairs (vacuum cleaning I suppose); 2. There were no slippers (you will need warm socks)
