Apartment on Zugspitzstrasse

The location of the property is very good to start hiking tours. Only a few minutes by car or a short walk and you reach the mountains and cable cars. Shopping facilities and the city centre are within walking distance - if you like to walk! Otherwise, just get the car from the underground car park and drive. The furniture and decor are a mix of styles, but it is cozy and has its own charm.

A TV is missing, so you have to watch the news or movies via internet on your iPad or something like that.

We stayed in the ground floor apartment with a garden. The apartment was very clean and very comfortable. We received detailed instructions before, and the check-in and check-out were quite smooth. The owner is a very kind and attentive person, and was always reachable via phone and thankfully very quick to react. There were also some snacks in the apartment, which we liked. Internet connection was excellent. The apartment is within 30 min walking distance from the town center, but there is also a bus station nearby. There are also some local restaurants and bakeries within a very short walking distance. Overall, we had a very pleasant stay in Garmisch-Partenkirchen and would again stay there next time.

Nothing negative, but as a suggestion, a curtain in the living room would be a nice addition.
