Bunter Hirsch Ferienwohnung im Garmischer Zentrum

This is a superb property, in a superb location, with superb hosts. Although it is only a short walk, we were met at the station and driven to the apartment. It is on the third floor of a beautifully maintained 100+ year old chalet, with the lower floors occupied by the host family. It is a few steps from the main street of Garmisch where the Tourist Office, supermarkets, restaurants and shops are located. Not having a car, we really appreciated the Guest Card which gave us free access to local and regional buses for travel to many tourist sites. As a 3 generation family of 6 our living needs were generously met in this spacious accommodation - 2 bedrooms, 2 living rooms (each with a sofa bed), a bathroom (with toilet and washing machine), an additional toilet, and plenty of towels and toilet paper. The fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher, cooking utensils, and many essentials for preparing our own meals was really appreciated. Besides the practicalities, the decor is just beautiful, as are the mountain views from the 2 balconies. It was a real pleasure to stay at Bunter Hirsch Ferienwohnung.

We had the most amazing stay at Bunter Hirsch. The hosts were so considerate, ensuring everything you might need (even to 8 different types of stain removers by the washing machine and fresh flowers dotted about the property) was in plentiful supply. The location was more fabulous than we realised before arriving. In very close walking distance of multiple supermarkets, restaurants and the main high st of Garmisch. The secure garage with automatic roller door was so handy. We really couldn’t have asked for a better accommodation for our family stay. Having a washer dryer for a skiing trip was super handy and we could have halved the clothing we bought with us. The style and decor were very tasteful and we didn’t want to leave!

This is such a beautiful property right near the town. The owners have included so many personal touches and have thought of all the things that make a stay feel like home.

The apartment was clean and stylishly decorated. Everything needed was there. The espresso machine was wonderful. The balcony has a beautiful view of the mountains. The location of the apartment is great and close to all services. The owners of the apartment were friendly and considerate. The owner of the apartment picked us up from the station and took us to the station as well. That was really kind.

Harrald was so warm and welcoming. The apartment had everything small and large - from fresh flowers, comfortable beds to well stocked kitchen and bathrooms. Even included some local beer, drinks! We were allowed to park in the garage and use the EV charger. Every detail was considered and thoughtful. The location was the best! 100 feet from the downtown pedestrian area where there is a Friday morning farmer’s market. 0.5 mile to the train station. 1 mile to the fields and many trails. Incredible views of Alpspitz and Zugspitz from the balconies.

It was not a problem for our young family, but less able bodied groups may struggle with the stairs as the apartment is on the 3rd floor.

Location, spotlessly clean, spacious, tasteful decor, comfortable beds, gracious host. Everything in perfect order, kitchen with everything that you could possibly need.

The property was outstanding in every aspect. Lovely bedrooms and a superb living area. Welcome pack, toiletries and facilities were also all excellent.The apartment was in a fantastic location close to the town. We used it as a base for skiing. It was perfect, a 15 min walk to the ski lift. Perfect location to access the restaurants in the lovely town of Garmisch that exceeded expectations. Hosts were excellent, and I would highly recommend them.
