Apartment Fira Bcn Camp Nou

Warm welcome. Easy contact with the landlord via Whatsapp. Apartment had everything needed, including a small balcony. Close to a super market, gorgeous bakery is a 3 min walk so great if you want to pop out for breakfast quickly.

Everything was good, Oscar is a nice gentleman who came to meet us and hand over the keys.

It was a nice place and all was fine until I noticed the threatening note posted on the refrigerador that mentions fines for not cleaning and putting away all of the dishes, taking out the garbage and more. There was already a 42 euro cleaning fee charged. This seems ridiculous and left a very bad taste.

The response I received from the proprietor when I asked about asking us to clean the apartment. Here is his reply: “I don't think that for you, as an American citizen of the first world and a world power, it is a problem to take out a small bag containing the little garbage that you have been able to produce in two nights!” Apparently he doesn’t care for those of us from the USA. Note this if you are booking this place.

The location. And was very clean!

There was only one Big pillow for 2 persons in the double bed, the bathroom door did not had a key, The sofa was so small!

Great communication with Hosts - Wifi strong/stable - Well-equipped & close to Sants / shops etc... Appreciated being able to store luggage on check out day for a few extra hours :)

Apartment located in a very 'local' area - travellers should be aware this apartment is suitable for people who are comfortable in Barcelona. The building is quite 'noisy' you will hear upstairs neighbours & other tenants when they come in and out. An extra towel would have been appreciated :)
