This funky little apartment is on the top floor of a block in a good location and would suit people looking for a place to live and work in Santa Cruz. The hosts were very friendly and helpful and we feel bad about having to mark the apartment down because there was much to like here.

However, please be aware that although the listing says that it has outside space in the form of a balcony, it doesn't. There is an area off the kitchen/dining/living room that may once have been an outside balcony but it is now just an extension of the room. The views from it are great but can only be appreciated whilst standing at the window; this is not an outside space.

The onwers are kind. The apartment has a good size for one person or a couple. It is very good for those working while traveling because there is a desk / working area in a separate room. The kitchen is well equiped and the owners kindly offer coffee powder, tea and other basics. There are shops and supermarkets nearby. The historic center is around 20 min walk away and 10 min walk to Sta Cruz Intercambiador. Also there are buses very close to go to Laguna.

Everything was fine.

The flat is very conveniently located close to transport and many shops, including a large shopping centre. I traveled for work, so easy connections to different parts of the city and the island were important. The hosts were also very nice.

Wi-Fi was good overall but the signal was a bit weak in the back of the flat (away from the router placed in the living room) and pretty much non-existent in the bedroom.

Hosts are very nice.
