Spacious flat, great communication with host and great location.

Very close to all the attractions and José was wonderful, went out of his way to look after us and gave us lots of recommendations for restaurants and towns to visit in the area.

The location was ideal. It was well equipped, even with a basket of food, etc, that was very much appreciated.

The unit seemed humid.

The property was located a short walk from the old town in a delightful part of town with plenty of options for dining. Hermi & Jose has done a number of thoughtful things to delight weary travellers & the apartment was spacious & comfortable.

The apartment had no shortcomings.

The kind host met me to give me the keys and show me the apartment. It's on the first floor (with elevator) above a busy main street. On the weekend, the businesses in the building are closed, so the front and back building entrances are locked with a pull-down gate for security; you open a door in the gate first, then open the secure door of the apartment building lobby. Down two flights of stairs out the back of the building is a street with a market and plenty of restaurants. It's about a 10-15 minute walk to the Cathedral of Santiago de Compostela, partly uphill. There's a parking garage right across the street, or if you're lucky you can find street parking. Parking at the nearby university is free on the weekends. The apartment itself was very clean and comfortable for 5 people. There is ample space in the living room to relax, and having the second bathroom was nice when everyone has to share one shower. The host provided fans in the bedrooms. We spent 3 nights here and were very happy.

Air conditioning would be a good improvement, but we were ok with the windows open and the fans. The apartment is on a main street, so there's city noise, including trash removal at the bins across the street. At first we were a little unsure about the three-level commercial area on the ground, -1 and -2 floors. During the week, it's open for people to get to the businesses and walk through to the street behind. The entrance to the apartment building is in this space on the ground floor. On the weekends it's gated and empty, but the locked gate doors at both the front and back entrances make it secure.
