The apartment itself was fine.

I must tell you that our stay here has not been a pleasant one due to a lack of sleep caused by the dog incessantly barking outside of the bedroom window, another small dog constantly yapping, the early morning serenade of rosters and peacocks. The owner suggest we close our windows even though there was no A/C and it was quite warm and humid rather than bring his large dog into his home at night. We spent 8 miserable nights there …by far, our very worst stay in all of the years that we have traveled.

We loved the location of the apartment. Perfect to explore Tuscany. The apartment is quiet quirky and has an amazing spa bath which is lovely after a day of exploring. The garden is amazing and was full of beautiful little daisies. There’s a BBQ and an outside table. We spend a lot of time outside. Layla and Bella the dogs were just the sweetest and we became fast friends! There’s also chickens and peacocks. The kids loved it!

It seemed like the heating was controlled by the owner and when he went out it was shut off. We came back to a cold apartment, but luckily the sun was warm and we could sit outside and enjoy the beautiful views with a glass of wine.

We liked our stay very much. The host was very friendly and ready to help us in everything we needed. It was exactly what we attended to find. The location was ideal for visiting the region and the toscan heritage. I recommend this apartment with all my heart.

Great location with a beautiful garden surrounded by fields of vines and with views across the plain to the Tuscan hill towns. Host extremely friendly, generous and helpful plus his two dogs were really friendly and his chickens and peacocks were a nice different touch. The use of the garden and barbecue facilities was great. The garden was full of quirky corners and great to explore

In short: absolutely recommendable. No complaints, everything wonderful. Long: A wonderful environment, a beautiful accommodation with a beautiful garden, adorable pets and the most important: an open and warm-hearted, but also discreet host, who made the stay the most beautiful, which we could experience in our three-week vacation in Italy. The apartment is well equipped, absolutely clean and lovingly furnished. Stani was promptly there to help with any inquiries. He has a great knowledge of the area and gives great tips. The place is also a good starting point to visit the many sights in the area. Even the lively Rome can be reached comfortably by train in 1.5h, if you want to leave the car. Stani, thank you very much for everything! You gave us a few unforgettable days. We came as guests and left as friends. See you next time!
