Apartmány Kukaččí hnízdo

We spent 5 days there with our friends. I think everything was fine in regards to the apartment, kitchen, cleanliness, bathroom and wifi. Plenty of information brochures, timetables were prepared for guests, which is a sign of helpfulness on the behalf of the owner.

Spacious apartment. Well equipped. The owner kindly gave us free tickets for public transport including a boat ride on the Elbe. We texted very smoothly in English.

We stayed 3 nights in the top floor apartment which came with a terrace with lovely views. Kitchen has everything you need. Towels, bed linen, toilet paper provided. Good wifi. Smart TV so you can log in to your own Netflix account for example. Apartment is dog friendly and was very clean. Friendly owner, met us with the keys. He gave suggestions of walks & amenities in the area. On the same street is a bakery, as well as a café for cakes, sweets and coffee. The Thai food at the restaurant on the square was yummy! All in all a great stay! Tip for future guests: if you go in the summer, go to the outdoor pool called Termální koupaliště v Benešově nad Ploučnicí (be aware no dogs allowed). Take a walk up to the observation point called Ploučnická vyhlídka to get a stunning view of the area. Suggestion: a parasol for the terrace would be useful. Perhaps also a mosquito net for the double bed.

It is available gas bbq on the porch, unfortunately during our trip bootle of gas run out. The host is really helpful and friendly. Apartment properly equiped. Nice view from terrace.

We would choose this accommodation again: - apartment is modern standard - street is quite calm (calm town) - dishwasher and oven is saving time (you can spent outdoors) - possibility to eat outside (backyard) and to have a barbecue - some toys for small children offered - very close to the market square, castles etc. - bus stop is easily reachable (5min walk) + train station is not too far (15min walk) - owner is very nice and helpful

Everything was fine, but there could be some little improvements: - apartment is probably meant for four people, but there are at least six beds: two beds less + possibility of storying clothes for the day or little things would have been great (e.g. next to the beds) - fridge could have been a bit bigger (not enough place for the food of four hungry people) - unfortunately no freezer - rooms are not getting dark enough (for our small children) while closing the curtains - sliding door between the two sleeping rooms is not keeping all the noises out
