La Galluzza

We were supposed to reach Siena in the afternoon, but due to some delays, we arrived at night. The self check-in and the easy, fast communication with the host made everything easier and relieved us of the stress of potential late check-in fees. The apartment, located on the 3rd floor of a traditional stone building in the city center of Siena, was clean, spacious, and equipped with everything we needed. The location was very convenient—just a 5-minute walk from Piazza del Campo—yet away from the noise of the historic center. The best welcome surprise, after a long, hot day, was the water bottles our host kindly provided. :)

We noticed that there was no shower gel or shampoo provided in the bathroom.

The appartment is renovated, very nice, comfortable clean, close to the main lendmarks. The host was very kind and available for any help and support.

It was so close to the old city center.

The house is really clean and perfectly renovated. It even has a modern heating system. The kitchen is very well equipped. The bed is super comfy. The location is very central, minutes away from the major landmarks.

The location was excellent. The apartment was very clean, equipped with everything one would need for a few days stay. The WIFI signal was good.

Nicely equipped apartment in a great location of Siena’s historic center. Kitchen has all the necessities, bed was very comfy, bathroom is modern, apartment has a washing machine.

Shower drains very slowly (typical of the old buildings in Italy) and needs a bath mat or rug to keep the floor from getting all wet. Bed is comfy but pillows were very flat (we ended up buying two additional pillows since we had a 10-night stay). Night stands could use little bedside lamps and a mirror above the chest of drawers in the bedroom would be nice. Please don’t misunderstand: the apartment was lovely and was comfortable and a great value. I only mention these things because I think unless the hosts have actually spent the night in the apartment they wouldn’t be aware that these things are missing. We love Siena and will come back and would definitely stay at Galluzza House again!

Great location. Good size apartment. Very clean!

3rd floor with no lift. Very small narrow hall way to get to the room. No shampoo, shower gel given. Very small amount of toilet paper given. There was a washing machine but not really able to use it.

Nice and convenient apartment. Perfect place !
