Really nice host and neighbors were friendly

The apartment was larger and nicer than we expected from the pictures, perhaps because the LR has changed slightly - the dresser has been removed and replaced by the short cabinet and the owners have added decorations that make the room look more welcoming. The second bedroom is larger than you would think from the pictures, it does not have any furniture but is perfect for storage, drying laundry, or exercising. The kitchen had more pans than I've ever seen (>10) that were nice quality and in good shape. Within a few minutes walk you can reach two grocery stores in one direction and the center of town (restaurants) in the other. Parking is on the street using the TPark app (English). In June 2023, it was €1.50/day (8:00-17:00) and free from 17:00- 8:00 and on weekends. We never had a problem finding space as they are only used for people visiting the businesses and not by residents of the building. If you need to unload, there were always plenty of free spots in the building's lot to temporarily park. We were a bit confused about which entrance door was correct as we saw A/B and A. Driving into the parking lot, it is immediately to the right.

The balcony is enclosed and because it is the only place smoking is permitted, the smell stays in the room and has permeated the furniture. Opening the window did not help so if smoke bothers you, the balcony is unusable. The living room light only had one functioning blub of four, we found a second in a drawer. We easily changed it but I would expect this as part of a cleanliness/functionality check. The bathroom light is not very bright and the screens visible in the LR photo are in the same spot instead of the windows.
