La Tana del Priore

There was a kitchen so we made our own breakfast some of the time. The bathroom was lovely and roomy, lots of hot water. We had a small living area with a couch, table, chairs. The 2 bedrooms had comfortable beds and lots of space to hang clothes.

There were several flights of narrow stairs to reach the apartment. We ran out of coffee pods ( the host was apologetic). This only affected one day of our stay.

The apartment was in a beautiful part of the city, near Via dei Priori, and provides a beautiful view. Besides that it’s very clean and well equipped.

We chose this property purely based on location because we knew Perugia was quite hilly and we wanted to walk and explore the old city and not have to use our car. Locationwise the property is perfect as only minutes away from the old city centre and so we could easily come and go as we pleased. Emmanuele the host is personally a nice and friendly guy and was very helpful - waited for us in the parking lot to help us up to the apartment with our suitcases (see parking below) Also he was very responsive on the phone and he looks after his apartment well providing whatever amenities are possible in such a small space (including drinking water and toilet amenities)

Parking is inconvenient as you have to park several minutes away and walk up a steep narrow street and then down a similar broader one Via Priori and then use two electronic elevators. So it is a big hassle if you are carrying heavy suitcases up and down The apartment was very small and hot in August. There were only two pedestal fans and no A/C. I would not recommend it for travel to Perugia in July and August. Also the photos make it appear to be larger than it is. It was barely large enough for three people (we were a family with my wife my adult daughter and self) and we had to open our suitcases in the main living area. Also a tiny shared bathroom with a cramped shower stall - in the main description on Booking.Com it said two bathrooms so that is incorrect

Central location

Very disappointed we were not told you could not stop outside as a result we came down a restricted street and received a fine. We had to park 15 mins away. The flat was very stuffy

It’s an exceptionally beautiful property, very clean and comfortable in a fantastic central location with stunning views of the Perugian countryside. Additionally the owners were very kind and helpful. I highly recommend this stay!

The double bed left little room for luggage and the beds were slightly uncomfortable.

Charming apartment, centrally located in historical district, freshly updated, close to restaurants and sites in Perugia, relatively easy to get to parking given the city's constraints.

Lack of air conditioning but that was my mistake for not noticing. It was very hot and fans did little to cool things off. I would not recommend during hot summer days.

Perfect location in Perugia. The flat exceeded our expectations in comfort and amenities. Very picturesque. Views from the windows of the Umbrian countryside. And the rooftops and towers of Perugia. The kitchen was very well equipped and had basic pantry items for cooking too. The proprietor was extremely helpful in getting us settled, suggestions for where to shop and dine, and how to park. And there is a washing machine!

The flat is on the top floor of a very old building. Three flights of old stone steps will not work for everyone.
