Il Vecchio Cipresso

This place was absolutely outstanding. A mere 3 minutes drive from San Gimignano and the rest of the region on your doorstep, the location couldn't be beat. There are restaurants and hotels also within walk of the property if you didn't fancy driving one night. The property itself is serene - a terrace welcomes you with a superb view over the region and a great relaxing spot for your morning coffee. Inside the property the beds were much larger than on the photos - more like a super-king and a double! The kitchen had everything we needed and we cooked the first night we arrived. The coffee pot for preparing morning coffee was a nice touch too. Shower and bathroom were spotlessly clean and the shower pressure was brilliant, much better than at home. Exceptional communication by the host, who checked in with us frequently on WhatsApp, offered us recommendations in the local area and helped us out with questions regarding local petrol stations - nothing was too small or too big. A real credit to Luca. The neighbours at the property were super welcoming and offered us fresh fruit for free each day picked at the property and welcomed us with a hello! I would stay here again without hesitation - I'm really glad to have booked this place and would recommend it to anyone.

Our stay in San Gimignano was wonderful! Luca and Katia were incredible hosts. Luca was extremely attentive and provided great recommendations. The apartment was spotless and the location was perfect. Easily reachable by bus and just a 30-minute scenic walk from San Gimignano. My brothers and I enjoyed our stay very much and hope to one day return to this gem of a place.

Nothing

The apartment is very close to San Gimignano, but not really in the city. The house is very clean and quiet. The beds are big and comfortable. The hosts are very nice and they responded to our questions/requests always immediately.

It would have been even nicer if we could turn on or turn off the stove ourselves, instead of having to contact the hosts each time when it didn't work.

Good price. Clean. Good house. quiet area. Near San Gimignano, but you need a car to go. Not an issue for us as we were on a road trip.

Checkin: i would prefere to be a little more flexible (later arrival), but good enough
