Casa Romano, centro di Forio, Ischia

This property is so beautiful. It was a comfortable stay for two couples, each with one baby. The kitchen is well equipped for cooking and the location is very convenient in Forio. We loved the views from every room and the beautiful Mediterranean aesthetic. The hosts were very helpful and we would love to return one day.

The shower door requires an upgrade

The place was beautiful -- even more lovely than the photos show. Excellent views from the many balconies of the sea, mountains, town. We were right in the centre of all the best restaurants and shops but with the excellent windows and super comfortable beds we slept soundly in total silence. The hosts were super helpful when we had questions about the area and we really appreciated that the apartment was set up with the basics for us to get started -- truly generous and welcoming. Everything was truly excellent about the experience!

We loved all of the balconies. It’s a very large apartment, perfect for our family of 4. Very comfortable, we wanted to stay in all day. Great views. Lovely breeze with all of the windows/doors open. Easy to walk to shops, restaurants, the beach, the bus. Great location. Kitchen well equipped. Some cooking supplies available. Host met us and showed us around the apartment.

We used the shutters but still bright in the bedroom, an eye mask is useful.

The location is fantastic. The decoration and presentation made it feel homely and that you wanted to be there. Simply fantastic.

This was absolutely exceptional stay! The host were really niced and allowed us earlier check in as we arrived sooner via the boat. The location was perfect, very close to the supermarket, yet still quite. And the apartment was awesome, we felt right like at home. It was equiped as no other apartment we stayed in with various stuff one might need during the stay but does not want to bring from home. The kitchen equipment was outstanding. Also the welcome gift were really appreciated. We definitely want to come back to Ischia as it is really charming place and we will for sure choose again Linda's stay. :-)

We had a splendid and comfortable stay in Casa Romano, which was featured by the white, luminous, and spacious rooms with several small terraces overlooking the sea or Corso Francesco Regine (that is, the main street of the old town with wonderful cafeterias, restaurants, and shops, to mention a few), also equipped with a beautiful view to Mount Epomeo. Moreover, many destinations were only a short walk away from the apartment, such as the previously-mentioned Corso Francesco Regine, along which also two grocery stores were conveniently located, the taxi stop straight in front of the apartment, together with the nearest beach. The owners, Linda and Mimmo, were also very friendly and hospitable throughout our stay with handy travel tips, some food left in the apartment upon our arrival, arrangement of the transfer services back and forth to Casa Romano from the airport, as well as arrangement of a taxi for our travels on Ischia, when we needed one. Last but not least, the apartment was well-equipped with, for example, kitchenware, soaps, shampoo, towels, and bathrobes. We would be more than pleased to come back one day!

Perfect location for getting to everything around Forio and for buses, etc, to other parts of the island. Quiet but still close to the 'vibe' of the town

The apartment is a very central location. When we arrived at the apartment it was clean and smelled fresh. The apartment has a lot of room and is very bright. The owner Mr. Ramano was very help in trying to fix a problem we had. They were easy to reach to communicate with. The apartment was stocked well with everything you need from laundry soap and toiletries to some treats in the refrigerator. They also had a smart TV in living room so you could watch Netflix but not in bedroom.

The apartment would be prefect if they did a few updates. They need a new sofa and drapes that are more than light sheers on windows in bedrooms.
