Excellent location, at the gates of Sassi. Magnificent apartment, modern, with everything needed for a fantastic and comfortable stay. Absolutely clean. The friendliness and attention of the hosts Grazia and Enzo. The complimentary extras offered. An amazing experience. The perfect place to spend a few days in Matera.

The hosts were a lovely couple who were incredibly helpful throughout our stay. They provided complimentary drinks and assisted us with the heating system, which was greatly appreciated. The apartment was well-equipped with everything one might need. However, as I stayed for an extended period—which is not typical for visitors to Matera—it would have been convenient to have access to a washing machine and dryer. Nevertheless, I understand that for most travelers in Matera, this may not be essential. The unexpected inclusion of breakfast was a pleasant surprise and added to the overall positive experience.

Literally a 100 m walk to the sassi area. The cleanest apartment. Has one openable bay window thats high On the wall, so you can’t see outside but for a short stay it’s fine. Bathroom was super clean and and shower was great ( for Italian standards ) . The bed and bedding sheets were the best I have had in over a month of travel in Italy. Enzo the host was such a nice guy and a gentleman and helped me with a carspot out front. Even gives you some free water and a coffee and dolce at a beautiful cafe up the road for breakfast. The cafe has incredible delights there. For people that struggle with stairs - it’s a bit of a climb from the street ( front door ) But so is the whole sassi tourist area. The only other thing was the staircase corridor can echo into the apartment and of there are loud guest in other rooms returning from dinner and shouting ( as I experienced ) it can be quite annoying. But as for the the apartment facilities - cleanliness - location - enzo as the host. Its a straight up 10/10. Enjoy

What a perfect apartment to stay in for several days in Matera. My hosts, Grazia and Enzo were just wonderful. Great instructions on how to walk to the apartment from the train station and then they were waiting for me as I arrived. Cold beers and wine in the fridge. Couldn’t ask for more on such a hot day.The apartment was spotlessly clean and obviously a lot of thought has gone into the decor and set up of the apartment. I loved it.

The appartments look new and are super clean and comfortable and a 2 minute walk to the sassi. The hosts are organised and so generous offering me a lift to the station when I left. I would recommend a stay here.

We liked everything about this property. Fantastic location, amazing hosts, complimentary extras, and above all a super clean and cosy property. It's a pity we only stayed for one night but if we had to go back to Matera I will surely go back to BRG apartments. Highly recommended!
