This apartment was very well-appointed. The rooms were large with comfortable furniture. You could sit and read at the window or under standing lamps. I set up the computer conveniently in the bedroom and access was great. The balcony had green plants, which I watered. The kitchen had all the pots and dishes that a family could want. There was a dishwasher. I enjoyed cooking and going to the little shop on the corner to buy olives, pesto, prosciutto. Lidl was also not far. There was air-conditioning, but one unit was enough to keep the apartment cool. The bathrooms were good. It was great to have two bedrooms and two bathrooms. There were pictures on the wall and little objects on display to give the feel of a real home. The kitchen had plates hanging on the wall and even containers with salt, sugar and flour. Just so thoughtful. The location was great, close to the main street and the piazza San Francisco with restaurants. We walked the wall in the late afternoon. I could do the washing in the washing machine. I left washing liquid and some oil etc for the next occupant. We thank the owner for a wonderful apartment.

The shower leaked but it was not a real problem as the bath mat soaked it up and I put it out on the balcony to dry. Perhaps an electric kettle might be useful, but not essential.

Great location

The apartment was in a great location and very comfortable.

Very minor but a few lights need attending proberly just the light bulbs blown.

The apartment was nice but nothing special. It had a lots of things on display. It was cosy. The host was very nice. We had to pay tourist tax as we arrived of EUR 40 in cash with no receipt, which has never happened before. And we stay every year at least once in Lucca.

The apartment was very dark and had no views at all to offer. The shower was a bit of a disaster as the curtain did not keep the water in and therefore flooded the entire bathroom. You need to know how to manage the curtain shower unfortunately.

Location - kitchen amenities

No real outdoor space to sit - what was there was not appealing. No parking on the street. You have to park in a lot and walk. Owner should secure a street parking pass for guests.
