Apartment city center eighty-five

It was very spacious, looked exactly like the photos. Very clean and had a lot of facilities as well. The location was also great, it was near a bus stop and a lot of places where we could eat. The host was very friendly and helpful!

Great host, really helpful and always fast to respond to messages. Location close to the train station, great for travelling to other cities. Bigger apartment than expected, building had a lift Cafes and restaurants close by

Needs a little update for the main room especially: the bed, the sheets, the towels, the balcony doors did not close, and there was a chair keeping them closed. Bathroom window faced the stairs of the building and another apartment (that was under renovation), so it did not feel very private - some tinted windows or a curtain would do the job. Noisy street, with dumpsters just ouside (every night the garbage was taken, so the truck was noisy)

It needs a little improvement, it’s a little bit noisy and in the second bedroom there is a window facing the inside of the block and the light is on all night which is a bit disturbing when you are sleeping.

The station and the city are close, everything can be reached quickly on foot. The host is friendly and helped us with directions. The apartment is clean, the bed is comfortable.

My stay at Apartment City Center 85 was excellent. I made my first visit to Bari earlier this month. I had arrived at Bari Centrale train station, made the 8-minute stroll to the front of the building on Via Michele Garruba. I had been in easy contact with Mr. Teo, who was to meet me and exchange the keys to the apartment. While waiting the couple of minutes for Mr. Teo to arrive, I had the pleasure of meeting the owner of the apartment and the entire building as well. We had a lovely chat and he recommended sights to see and restaurants to visit. The apartment features a lift and was on the forth or fifth floor (I forget). The apartment is located in a residential neighborhood and was enormous. One bedroom, a living room, a sitting room/dining room, full kitchen, and bath, with small balcony toward the front, off the bedroom. I didn’t use the fully accommodated kitchen except for the fridge and the tea kettle. WiFi was robust in every part of the apartment. The bathroom was clean and larger by European standards, but one had to wait 4-minutes for hot water for the shower. The water heater is located in the kitchen. Once it arrived there was plenty of hot water. There is a Conad City supermarket a 10-minute walk to the west of the apartment, and a Despar Market a few blocks north. There is also a surprisingly good Despar right in Bari Centrale. The location of the apartment is relatively quiet, but it’s over a 1-kilometer walk to the Old Town of Bari. There are plenty of café’s, bakeries, and restaurants on the way to the Old Town. Overall I was very happy with the accommodations. It felt more like being in a private home than a hotel room.
