Constant messages from property managers Clean BnB about giving passport details and paying city tax online before arrival in order to release code to property. I contacted person who managed property at location and she was willing to meet us at reception in Ferrara, but we continued to get messages from Clean BnB about checking in - this added unneccessary stress and worry to the holiday. The check out was completely inflexible - so no opportunity to leave luggage at property of office. There needs to be instructions at property about bathroom, which has a complex variety of taps and controls. We switched on steam bath by mistake and apartment was full of steam.
FIIf you have an interest in brilliant renovation/interior design, this place will charm you. I have never seen a small, ancient space be more seamlessly turned into a high-fashion urban nest for two. Genius.
The fancy shower was a bit of a Rubik's Cube to figure out, but eventually, we did – and it's a great shower. The bathroom sink drains super-slowly, and its drain pipe is slow-leaking onto the gorgeous wooden floor. This didn't really impact the quality of our stay, but fix it now before the floor is ruined!
