I had a fantastic stay in this apartment in Catania! It is conveniently located, just 5 minutes from Etnea Street and a 15-minute walk from St Agata Cathedral. The walk to the apartment is pleasant, especially after enjoying delicious "dolci" 😂 The apartment is spacious and very well equipped, with everything you need in the bedroom and kitchen, and it is modern and very clean. I had an apartment with a balcony overlooking the street, and the windows are well isolated, so you can sleep without any problems. Additionally, the apartment is well air-conditioned, which was essential for me given the high temperatures. There is a Lidl supermarket just an 8-minute walk from the apartment, which is very convenient for picking up something to cook for dinner. Mariella, the owner, is very kind and attentive. She is always available via WhatsApp and ready to help if needed. I really enjoyed my stay in her apartment and highly recommend this accommodation for its excellent quality and affordable price.

The appartment is located just few minutes on foot from the famous Via Etnea and Parco Bellini. Although it's on a busy street, once the balcony doors are closed the soundproofing is solid, so there was no issue with falling and staying asleep. Still, as honking is an integral part of the authentic Sicilian traffic experience, if your sleep is light, you might have some issues, but any sleep deprivation can be cured by having the most delicious coffee at the balcony overlooking the same busy street that enables experiencing the local traffic from a safe distance. Other than that, the appartment was very clean and more spacious than it appeared on the photos. The bed and the pillows were super comfortable, and the cover was warm enough, with extra blanket available. We did not use the kitchen but it seemed well equipped, and the laundry washer/dryer, drying rack, iron and ironing board were a useful addition. The host, signora Mariella was the kindest and most helpful host.

On the side note, a floor-to-ceiling glass wall in the living area overlooking the inner courtyard looked very elegant, but it appeared to cause a fair amount of humidity and condensation, so it required a lot of airing.

Great place, very close to the center. Hosts are extremely helpful and hospitable. Cosy little apartment with all necessary amenities. Despite that it is on big street the apartment is quiet.

Regarding the accommodation everything was perfect: the location, the charming building built in the ‘70 with the modern appartment minimally decorated with authentic pieces of art. We loved the both of the hosts, we had a pleasant welcome. Complimenti a Signora Mariella!

Central location, close to bus station and a short walk from the center

It was not ok to sleep with an open window because of traffic, and it was not ok to sleep with all windows closed due to lack of fresh air

The property was beautifully presented, well equipped with lots of small touches that really set it apart. In a beautiful building close to the city heart, it was in easy walking distance to the attractions of the historical centre. Very comfortable and great value for money. We appreciated the ability to cook our own meals and wash clothes.

The apartment looks even more charming in reality and its location is perfect ,central , close to main attractions -walking distance, close to restaurants and shops but still quiet enough to rest. It is easy to reach from the airport even using public transportation ALIBUS( 4 euro/ticket). The hosts are very friendly and always ready to help you with everything you need. You can communicate with them in English and Italian over the phone or using WhatsApp (very quick response). Highly recommend and definitely would return here. Thank you for everything.
