Casa Vezzosa

A stunning apartment right in the heart of Siena, tucked away down a narrow street, just minutes from the Duomo and main piazza with lots of cafes, restaurants and shops. Casa Vezzosa is beautifully furnished with lots of little touches to make it look and feel chic and homely. The comfy beds had crisp bed linen and there were lots of big fluffy towels and plenty of crockery and cutlery. We had a really wonderful stay and were very sad to leave. We would 100% recommend Casa Vezzosa.

Beautiful apartment perfect location

Very spacious, clean, kitchen well equipped, big shower, lovely decor, comfy beds, helpful hosts, great location.

There is nothing I didn't like. I couldn't recommend this place enough.

Location very close to the city center.

During the weekend it was quite noisy at night.

A large apartment with good cooking facilities. Plenty of space to spread out, or sleeps 4 to 6 if you don’t mind being close! Easy and quick access to il Campo and the Duomo complex, and about 10 minutes from the bus station at Gramsci piazza. If you arrive by train a tax will cost around €12 to get to Piazza Independenza, then just a couple,of minutes to walk. The actual street is so steep only a motorcycle can use it, so this is a good option. good little chinese restaurant at the top of the road, which we used to find our street easily and ate there too. We did a couple of wine tours through my tours.it which were really good, Val d’Orcia all day and Chianti and Castles half day. We used this to see the countryside and visit some little towns that would have been hard to get to by bus. did the Duomo complex with the OPA SI pass, and went at 10 so just got in before the crowds of tour groups. don’t forget the library at the cathedral, and the panoramic view at the museum - both highlights!

The street is very steep to access the door. if it was wet would be dangerous. would be fine for almost everyone but if you are older and have unsteady feet it wouldn’t be a good choice. We’re in our 60s and it was fine, except for the short drag of our suitcases! The apartment itself is great.

Location and size of unit

The unit was hot and there was no way of changing the temperature. Furnishings were cheap.
